  • I really really enjoyed watching this! Lol so funny.

  • Amazing!

  • Awesome

  • This guy does Hal Douglas the best. Beau Weaver requires a smile in the voice. I lov how he wrote in all the Disney silliness Mark Elliott has to pitch in.

  • Dit he say I'm John 3 porno ?

  • @ooGasMasKoo cute. Still better than Jon 3 Pinto.

  • pablo francisco does it better

  • @cloudraz I'll concur that he does it differently, but if he was so much better then why isn't he doing it for a living? couldn't he do stand-up and voiceovers too? I've only seen him attempt to do one actual trailer and he struggled... REALLY struggled. I think he's better suited for stand-up. but to each his own.

  • may make an order?

  • @byronge14 can't promise i'll be able to find time to fill "an order" but i've done favors for people before

  • this guy is good!

  • @Frit0Pie that's why i do it for a living

  • LAME!!!

  • Movie: The Movie! :D

  • I wanna see "Movie": the movie xD

  • Your Hal Douglas is perfect.

  • I so wanted to do what you do as a kid ......you are freakin awesome ! I look forward to all your Transformers parodies that you post . I had no idea you did so much more

  • @jeremy4876 yep. i do lots o stuff!

  • The Peter Cullen one was great!

  • :24 "IN THE MAGICAL KINGDOM OF THE UNICORN FAIRIES!!"...LMAO>!>>......WOW.....how much do you get paid per movie trailer? Just curious

  • @CertifiedHitz314 i'm afraid i'm not at liberty to say but it's enough to pay a house note and have 25% left over. ;)

  • Great voice Jon and an even GREATER ear to catch all the subtle nuances of their voices. Well done, sir. An homage to all these gentleman.

  • @roddwayne thanks!

  • Very good, and very smooth transitions between the various voices. More Peter Cullen please!

  • this is a lame comment but dude you are awzome!

  • @ValmisFilm lol, not lame. thank you.

  • wow! :D

  • Have u done voices in any video games? Your voice is so familiar

  • @kokoriko999 I've done some tv and theatrical movie trailers and a motion comic book and one videogame that hasn't been released yet.

  • i thought this was awesome, but he just didnt shut up and get to it quick enough

  • @davenumber911gov quick enough? it's barely longer than one minute? lol.

  • You gave those legends a run for their money. Nice work man!

  • That's badass, dude! It's...just as good as the originals. Only slightly younger sounding, but that comes with age, and most people wouldn't be able to tell anyway. Sounds just like 1980's Prime. Internet people are haters only now, so don't mind them. That's a real talent. Glad you're going for it! Best impressions of those guys, all of them, I've seen in 20 years.

  • @Dale747474 thank you very much!

  • dork this is awful

  • @bearsnero sheez, 'nother hater.

  • Oh geez!! Another wanna-be!!

  • @vostar2011 yeah, this "wanna-be" is now a "is." this is the video that my manager found that got me into doing professional movie trailers. so *ahem* na-na-nah-boo-boo, go stick your head in doo-doo.

  • Hey, i dont care about the commenters ... i thought it was a cool vid! Nice work!

  • @DJRockinRob yeah, i don't mind them. :D this video is responsible for the majority of my paid voiceover stuff

  • @jon3pnt0 maybe some day someone will like the sound of my voice and ask me to help out :) It is on my most wanted job list :))) I am no where near as versitile as you but still have a nice voice IMO. Good luck on the road ahead!

  • @DJRockinRob good luck to you as well and may the voice be with you... always.;)

  • @jon3pnt0 ROLF!

  • @jon3pnt0 I mean this with the most respect, but you might want to work on your peter cullen voice. It was amazing!! Better than anything I could ever do but it sounded a bit like Admiral Ackbar. No offense!!

  • @c4r50n1 none taken. this video is the main reason why i was hired to become a professional movie trailer announcer, so you can be as critical as you want and it still won't matter. it wasn't my best cullen in this particular video, but it's not easy to switch back and forth between that many different similar voices.

  • Nice tribute man. This would be my dream job someday. Hey, do you happen to know the name of the guy who does most of the trailers nowadays...I know he did the trailer for The Expendables. I hear his voice on almost all the trailers now...ever since Mr. Lafontaine passed away.

  • @Mr96tears the main movie guy these days is ashton smith, but there are many others like hal douglas, jim cummings, chris correly (not sure if that's spelled right), and more that do movie trailer voiceovers. most of the trailers that I've done have been international tv and theatrical trailers. because of contract issues, I can't do US trailers until this coming February.

  • @jon3pnt0 Yes! Ashton Smith is the one I was thinking. He does most of the horror and action films now. Thanks.

  • you do hal douglas the best

  • That's great, man! I know you're going to go far!

From reading viewers' comments, and your replies... I can see you already have the pompous attitude, and ego so strong that others can smell it.

NEVER FORGET: No matter what you do-- You SHOULD always plagiarize the voices/personalities of others, in lieu of cultivating those of your own!

  • @ChesterfeildVanderG "pompous?" "plagiarize?" plagiarism, if you had taken the time to find out what it actually meant, means STEALING someone else's work and trying to pass it off as your own. i made sure everyone knew which impressions i was doing, reading a trailer i wrote myself. it's a TRIBUTE. voiceovers puts food on the table and a roof over the head for myself and my wife and four kids. i contribute part of my earnings to charity and do "favors" for youtubers all the time. real big ego.

  • it's called being proud of my work. i spent 11 years flipping burgers and driving a forklift. get your facts straight, dude.

  • @ChesterfeildVanderG

Geez man, try the decaf'! The only remotely negative thing I had to say about his vid was that the D. LaF wasn't as good as the rest, which were REALLY good! And believe me, I'm VERY critical of voice over artists!

If you think he's just a jerk in general, why waste your time responding to the video? how bout some CONSTRUCTIVE criticism?!

PS jon3pnt0's right about the definition of plagirism

  • @lieutenantcracker

    You misspelled "plagiarism" General Jerk!

  • Your Beau Weaver is "spot-on"!!! Great Job! --Don't quit your day job on the LaFontaine, though. . . . .

  • @lieutenantcracker haha! you're funny... cuz voiceovers ARE my day job! ironically, all because of this video! see my manager in LA saw this video and contacted me back in February and had me read for Beastly, Extraordinary Measures, and Nine... real movies, btw. and i've been an official "movie trailer man" ever since. but thanks for your vote of confidence. :T

  • Great video, I think you will also like our latest video. If you want to follow the leading video marketing team in your industry check out REP Interactive on twitter @REPinteractive or add our CEO @SteveGatena

  • @RepInteractiveLLC lol, leading market team spam??? on a voiceover video? you're hilarious. i'm a voiceover artist, not a corporate exec.

  • AMAZING

  • You should do a Voiceover of Don LaFontaine for the next TV Spots of YouTube Poop the Movie

    -NaruIchi '97

  • COOL.

  • EPIC

  • Dude, it's crazy that you can distinguish between the first few voices. I knew there were multiple guys that sounded similar to Don but great job on each other them! Relating to what SlimTayD was saying, maybe you should try Duke Nukem. I bet that would be cool.

  • omg, great talent

  • how much do you charge for a tag for my music?

  • you can check out all my pricing and everything at my website manof1000voicesdotcom, but usually for DJ drops and taglines, I charge $50 as long as it's under 1 minute long... but I can work with whatever you can afford. :)

  • Lol Hal Douglas sounds like Duke Nukem haha "I've got balls of steel"

  • I like the headphone.

  • @bonedome: Agreed.

The only one he has down cold is Hal Douglas. No small feat as that is generally a more subtle voice than Lafontaine's.

  • Really well done. Hal Douglas is bang on. Mark Elliot is a little weak tho.

  • Your Mark Elliot is okay and your Hal Douglas was the best, you should try imitating Nick Tate, look up "5 Guys in a limo"

  • it's already in my favs.

  • Yay, finally a REAL Don Lafountain Impression!

    Your impressions how more natural.

Pablo Fansisco isn't very good, he's too raspy & not enough bass (depth)...Same for all his mimics.

  • i think pablo's is a combination of Don and Hal. It's a Haldon LaDouglas voice. :P

  • dude ive got a movie promo i would like for u to do if u would like to do it get back to me

  • just send me a msg on the tube.

  • amazing

  • Yuor Jst Da Best Ever ! ! ! :D

  • peter cullen i rekon was da best dvd man haha

  • Epic

  • LOL extra special zinc dioxide two disc dvd. awesome dude. AWESOME. Also, I don't know about the other voices because I haven't listened to them much, but your peter cullen is dead on. X3

  • Brilliant man.

  • Kick Ass

  • Very cleaver, real good

  • your hal douglas is perfect.

  • This is amazing... I've wanted to to VO work forever... I'm inspired!

  • I love your Beau Weaver impression!

  • I'm jealous of that microphone you have. That would be perfect for all the voices I do. Nice work by the way.

  • Man you'd be able to do an epic duke nukem impression

  • great job jonny dizzle

  • thanks, shake, my rednizzle frizzle fo shizzle

  • wow that was really really good.

    Awesome!

  • Ha! Those flow together so funny!

  • thanks. i am thinking of using this as my closer when i begin going into standup in nashville.

  • Very nicely done! I bow before the skill.

  • "will do voices for food"

  • nice, keep it up...so this is wavepad...? crystal clear...5/5 FAV, sorry so long, how's everything bossman?

  • Audacity. Upgrading to adobe audition soon. Everythings awesome. Gettin paid voiceover jobs left and right, bro! And hey, no need to apologize... been keepin my booty busy too! ;P

  • If Disney hears you I bet they would hire you to be the next Don.

  • actually, mark elliot was the disney trailer guy... i dont think don ever did any disney movies? not sure bout that, but i still appreciate the compliment.

  • Oh well they should hire you to be the next elliot. Anyway no problem Big Bro.

  • GREAAATTTT!!! i'll look up audition as soon as i get a powerful computer soon...

  • "audacity" not "audition" there is audicity which is free and adobe audition which is CHA-CHING!!!!

  • hmm, i have sound booth...hmm...gotta check it out...

  • SWEET AND AWESOME at the same time!!=D

  • Studio is looking and sounding great!

I do agree you should do one of those fastest multiple characters in 3 minutes type of videos.

PS: Still waiting for that script and my lines!! :)

  • thnx. i am working on it! sorry! had some last minute BIG MONEY job offers in the last couple of weeks that i have been working on.

  • Another awesome vid, man! I want to see this movie!

  • Not too bad considering I wrote it on the notepad app on my cellphone during a 10 minute break at work!

  • as always excellent, keep on going

  • i keep going and going and going and going... ;)

  • ehehehe. Thanks for pointing me to this.

  • :) I took your advice and put out a new vid with my newly upgraded recording studio. I lack only my Audigy 2 ZS soundcard (which should arrive soon) and Adobe Audition software to have a completed studio. I got the analog condenser mic, shockmount, pop filter, Mackie mixerboard, all the sound panels, headphones, cables, etc. for under $500. The soundcard was $120. The circle is now complete. I was once the learner now I... am the master.

  • jon strikes again !!!!!!

  • next... revenge of the jon

  • Hehehe, pretty cool, nice chaining of the voices as well :)

  • yeah, i really need to do one of those "100 voices in 3 minutes" video-type things. onemanshow gets paid with google ads from his and i can easily do as well as he did.

  • Starring Steven Seagal and Chow Yun Fat

  • ROTFL

  • Amazing! I love it :-)

  • thanks! when is CC coming out?

  • Couples of weeks bro :-) Or so I hope, youtube may take the video down though, so i'll show you it as soon as it goes up.

  • Movie: The Movie was given two thumbs up by Roger Ebert.

  • nah, has to have nudity to get 2 thumbs from Ebert.

  • ZOMG! That's real talent!

  • WIIIIOOOOOWIIIII!!! That's Kung-Pow for... Thank you very much and may you have many children that do not resemble mutant chicken-goats.

  • You're excellent!!!

  • It was very nice. I like the "sponge room." It reminds me of the room made of sponge that turns into Spongebob in the episode where Mrs. Puff goes to jail, lol! Your voices are awesome. Love your stuff! Xoxo ;D

  • ;) haha... ur sweet

  • that was very good dude! i always admire voice actors.. ;-) very good work!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • thnx. i try

  • Great sense of humor man!

  • Great voices! As always, 1000 stars!

  • if only they allowed that many! lol

  • That was aweasome!

  • i drink from the ladel of awesomeness.

  • It was suspenseful for the Mark Elliot part knowing his turn was coming up every now and then, I laughed heartily.

  • lol, i love his part in the "5 guys in a limo" video. i linked it in the annotations.

  • Don LaFontaine and Hal Douglas WERE spot on! Cullen seemed off a bit, but perhaps that's only becaues he and LaFontaine are so close. Anyways, great work man :)

  • well, i couldn't do multiple takes to get it perfect. if i spliced up the vid with the best takes, people would say it was faked.

  • That was awesome!!

  • don and hal were SPOT ON...amazing

  • :D thnx! thats exactly what i was going for!

  • Bloody hell Jon, you're good! :)

  • lol, thanks, timey.

  • Ha, they must be deaf : ) Anyway Jon, no rush, I understand that you are busy mate. It won't be long before we hear your voice on the big screen! You are superb, make no mistake!!!

  • bull, your starscream is seriously brilliant. i plan on getting to ep 2 in the next week or so. i have actually started on it, but i prefer it to be one complete file rather than a bunch of clips. it would be great to do a REAL movie trailer. although i have been asked to narrate a documentary!

  • Superb, yet again!

  • hadnt forgotten you, dean! i promise! been busy with actual paying voiveovers lately... ya! but i cant wait for badly animated ep 2. btw, someone thought your starscream was so good that they thought you were dr. smoov. ;D

  • Oh wow, that was incredible! Plus also funny. Way to go Big Bro. Five Stars.

  • thnx, AF. hows that new vid coming?

  • Since I got yours and Southpaw's voices in I just have to record everything, put it together and upload it. I'm hoping to do it tonight. Also no problem, you're an incredible voice actor.

  • can't wait!
