It wasnt an anti - gravity plane if there is such a thing? It was a fly by wire/composite surfaces, stealth technology demonstrator. AT one Min, Tacit Blue; I saw this thing fly over El Camino Real and Wolf Rd in Sunnyvale ca. in 1970. maybe 3000ft up heading of moffat landing strip. Thats what i saw

I find it so fascinating when "aircraft buffs" visit museums and have absolutely no clue what some of the planes are. Otherwise, one would do their homework and realize, YES, the C-135 they saw has a LASER. I swear, if I hear one more serviceman look at the F-104 and ask, "Where's the rest of the wing?"....;P

1. you get a nice big empty plane and you dive really steep not to steep asa the plane would breack up

Well, don't you know, they leave all the reall top-secret anti-gravity planes out for chivilian children to look at! Tacit Blue was a pre-F-117 stealth plane, now declassified. Looked like an RV. The beast sitting on its tail was an early attempt at VTOL. The Warthog is one of the best close support aircraft ever built.

i hope you're kidding lucid, since there's no such thing as antigravity planes or helicopters. as for the airplane, i think you're talking about the one sitting on the strip, in which case it's just a communications/radar plane.

Cool vid. That place is definitely on my must visit list. A couple of things. Tacit Blue waas a stealth technology demonstartor. It was basically a proof of concept expirement for more advanced stealth techniques used in the B-2 and F-22. They were proving you didn't need flat panels like the F-117. Also, the plane suggested to be the laser plane isn't. It's a communications/electronic intelligence plane. The laser plane is a converted 747. Much larger.

The plane in question is actually the Boeing 767-200 Prototype, turned over to the US Army and became the test aircraft for the "Airborne Optical Adjunct" or "AOA" project, to be used in scanning, detection & tracking of balistic warheads. I used to see this plane sitting on the tarmac at Boeing Field in Seattle all the time.

the aurora is a real aircraft that was tested during late 1990's, it would fly over thousand oaks from edwards air force base or plant 42 in lancaster, ca. every wensday and cause false eathquake warnings. its com trail is quite different than that of a normal jet. and last flight i knew of was west coast to england in about an hour. the sr-71 has the record officialy at 60 mins from west coast to new york. the new sr-75 will be more than mach 6.
