Someone should take this mechanism and use it in a giant waterfall of lava, so that in order to get into their house, they walk through the waterfall via a doorway opening up.
@JoeZvertv its pretty basic in a sence, its just a real big version with some simple pistons, i am thinking of copying that whole map or some of the main structures onto our MC Server for people to come have a look (That is a thing we'd like to do in the future :P
If you use pistons surrounding the entrance and let them stick out it would break the water that doesn't drain from the sources to make an entrance appear. If you don't do that then the water flowing simply doesn't get removed since the water will still be connected to a source block somehow. It'd be a way to do your idea CultistO
@Sinchu9 i used the Lapzi Luzi (or what its called block) as wanted to keep it in the same style and detail, otherwise you would notice the different looking blocks & think they would do something, "all in the detail"
I'm trying to work out a good way to have a water fall split to reveal an entrance or what not, (blocking the whole thing is easy) I've tried blocking the middle and refreshing the edges, but the water decays so slowly it's hard to make it look nice... it'd be awesome if you could answer my chalenge
