  • we played this perfectly and were an 8th grade band

  • wow and i thought we were quiet. sorry im nagging on them i get nagged all the time on how quiet we trumpets are. just spreading some nice advice. Open up. Sit up straight. articualate. put bells up above stands when you play. play with confidence. [trust me im not perfect im working on the same song and every time i play it i work hard on all the things i listed.

other then that . fantastic performance XD

  • wow this performance isn't half bad. My highschool is playing it and i'm on the Bells part. I loved this video but my only concern was with the trumpets. They didn't seem in tune at all and the band's timing was off but they pulled it off and it was fantastic. Great Job!

  • I'm playing bass clarinet for this song in my 7th grade band^^

It's an easy-medium-ish-maybe-a-little-harder-than-that song, excluding all the scales(because scaled are impossible to play on bass><) and time changes(the just plain confuse me:P).

  • 4:25 the flutes arent using the triller from d to e!!!

  • Low Brass Rocks

  • What a bad audience! I liked your version. I think that you could a good lesson on balance though. And a lesson on staccatos and dynamics. Otherwise... nice!:)

  • we have to play this and we r a 7th grade band its not even hard

  • WE PLAYED THIS!!

  • in madison we played this song for band camp and we were only in 7th grade

  • @badgerfan2674 hey i was in that band last year too!! what instrument do you play? i was on trumpet :D

  • @usapkgirl percussion

  • I have to play this in 2 hours for a concert :D Good job guys

  • we are playing this for our concert, sounds pretty good though brass is off by a bit

  • I love the granite block part in this song. I have the honor of playing it in this song at our concert. No offence, but this performance doesn't sound that good. Is this high school band?

  • Ok, I like it but the low brass (no offense) need to blend and be more precise, but the woodwind's sound pretty, and the trumpets don't sound like they are all in tune. Other than that, great job. My highschool is playing this, and I personally love playing the trombone part becaues it's a peice of everything. This really is a great song, and you played it very well.

  • i have been looking everywhere for this! thanks for the upload, and my school is playing this for our band reviews...

yeah i agree, the euphoniums and trumpets need to balance out, because they are kinda making the 'sun bursting through the clouds' a bit rushed and too loud in the beginning. lol~ but thats my opinion. aha Nice job though!!! (:

  • In some parts it needed to slur for the euphoniums though

  • you guys are pretty goood. [:
