There is poverty all around us. the only difference betwn those who are born here and those born elsewhere is: illegals can't attain proper jobs, because if that were the case we will be taking over those good paying jobs. Why don't we focus more on those who come overseas than those who are our neighbors? That is where anthrax, bird flu, and even aids come from.

The law being protested that caused the situation wasn't in effect when he was doing the fucking! If he had come here legally.......he still wouldn't be here. Illegal citizen? That's not even a term, it's "illegal immigrant" which has recently been coined to replace "undocumented immigrant" because it helps create a false sense of fear and urgency. Laws are not synonymous with correct, remember at one time it was legal to enslave an entire ethnic group for their skin color.

Then that area would enter poverty in every angle, civil wars, 'would be revolutions', chaos etc. People would fight for the same amenities that were once readily available. So one has to think of the long term effects and not get too emotional/ personal.
The lady in the clip makes it seem like her mistakes were in reality not because of her own lack of foresight but the country's as a whole. Having a child requires a lot of thinking; if she fell in love then she should be strong.

A country needs to think about long term benefits to survive and for the most amount of people. The greater good.

I dont know that stats but Indians probably have the highest arranged marriage rate and the lowest divorce rate. For better or worse. So all this was not for ego gratification. Regardless, I suggest you learn the history of your own country. California's constitution was written in Spanish and was actually the state's language for many years. So obviously there's room for more than one language. I'm so sick of this country saying that English is the one and only language, there are other modes of communication too, why not be open minded? Usually those against it are the ones without the ability to learn another language.

A mixed blood Ashinishaabe (sp?) would still refer to himself as an Ashinishaabe if he or she was born into their community and culture. That's their primary identity. If they call themselves American, it simply refers to their nationality since they were born in the U.S.

Seen far too many arrogant Mexicans give me grief for two reasons: Not being Mexican and having the audacity of being Indian (Maya/Quechua/Huanca).
