ya great post barbarian was much better than his credentials show he never got the push he deserved and from all the books i have read he was a dependable guy also a real life bad ass the only person he was scared of was his wife
Really What Couldl dr.Death Do with Politics being what it was at the time, the only promoter in my opinion that reall gave him the push he should have got as a singkes wrestler was Bill Watts.Somebody Tell Vince McMahom what he missed out on.
yeah that feud could have been a great storyline when demolition was gone and the l.o.d came and warlord and barbarian were in singles. BUT as usual, vince chose to sweep that under the rug. just like how can you have butch reed and the junkyard dog in the wwf and not have them feud? Still like barbarian even though he never got to the push he should have.
Wow i had heard about this matchfrom i believe new japan prowrestling back in teh 80's no wi saw it. Win or lose i always liked the barbarian and i can see from him pressing 280lb dr. death that he has always been a powerhouse. seeing him wrestle that good and be a heel makes me wonder why he always wound up jobbing to the big stars. i say never got the right push in singles. Great stuff from dr. death too. Nice match thanks for posting it!!!!
Huh, would've expected this to be from AJPW, but it's New Japan (recognized the ref). Also, fucking fuck these two were *tanks* back then.

Vince would have changed his name to something goofy and tried to turn him into a cartoon character.
Glad he never tried to go there.
