  • 2:16 is the short version of the Concept Link Productions logo.

  • I'll ask you this again, Dire: what companies ARE those at 5:21 and 8:32???

  • Oops, here, Dire- lemme rephrase that:

What are the logos at 5:21-5:23 (the one that looks like the lowercase letters UH merged together) and 8:32- 8:43 (the one with that GROOVY fountain in the background)?

  • 5:21 is LiuHe Films, while 8:32 is Filmling Enterprises, both happened to be Taiwan-based.

  • Thanks a lot, Dire. Y'know, for a while, I thought nobody might know!

  • just too busy to visit my own site pal... =)

  • The CFCC logo had the Back to the Future music.

  • Golbal Investment Limited? GOLBAL? This is probably the biggest spelling gaffe I've ever seen in an HK film logo.

Even worse than the first version of the more familiar Film City logo, where it says right under the logo, "FLIM CITY."

  • lol dont crack on flim city now!

  • It's even funnier to hear illegally ripped-off music, like the snippet from Back to the Future on the CFCC logo...

  • What is classic music from Success film company production's ident? (I heard this music from South Korean Home Video Production, Young Production Co., Ltd.'s ident)

  • What movie did the Chi (HK) Film Production Co., Ltd. ident come from?

  • What company is that at 5:33~5:46?

    (1960's ident? 1970's ident?)

  • It's Mei Hung Organization Production's ident from Taiwan, circa 1974.

  • Where did you get the Wang Fat Film Production co., Ltd. ident from?

  • It's from Andy Lau's "Hong Kong Godfather".

  • Thanks.

  • The Gold City Films Co. is one that I discovered.

  • What a nightmare it is, too!

  • That Gold City music...so late 70s. Superman plus the 40s Universal Pictures music and add laser SFX that wouldn't be out of place in Meco's disco version of the Star Wars theme...

  • Really? Can you remember what movie does that logo come from?

  • which one cruise?

  • The Gold City Films Co.

  • You can find it in Ghost Nursing (1982) or Invitation of Ghost (1984), both starring old-school action star Norman Chui Siu-keung

  • At 6:14, there's a typo in the Oriental logo.

  • Also, Oriental uses Aaron Copland's "Fanfare for the Common Man" as its theme...

  • What company is that at 5:28?

  • And 8:32?

  • Lai Wah, Prince Films, Fong Cheng, Fortuna uses same jingle in idents.

  • Those good o'days where copy is right LOL

You gave me a good idea in making a ident collection based on jingles =)

  • So does Pink Video, but it's short.

  • Whoa, those Chinese love monopolizing the KPM music there!
