I love it when you put snow into your video Mr. dire398, it's so wonderful that you can put snow during December of 2011. i hope you agree with me. Everyone likes snow. :D
What are the logos at 5:21-5:23 (the one that looks like the lowercase letters UH merged together) and 8:32- 8:43 (the one with that GROOVY fountain in the background)?
What is classic music from Success film company production's ident? (I heard this music from South Korean Home Video Production, Young Production Co., Ltd.'s ident)
That Gold City music...so late 70s. Superman plus the 40s Universal Pictures music and add laser SFX that wouldn't be out of place in Meco's disco version of the Star Wars theme...
In what film does the Goldig Films (HK) Ltd. ident come from?

I'll ask you this again, Dire: what companies ARE those at 5:21 and 8:32???
Ian16545 3 years ago
Oops, here, Dire- lemme rephrase that:
What are the logos at 5:21-5:23 (the one that looks like the lowercase letters UH merged together) and 8:32- 8:43 (the one with that GROOVY fountain in the background)?
Ian16545 2 years ago
5:21 is LiuHe Films, while 8:32 is Filmling Enterprises, both happened to be Taiwan-based.

Thanks a lot, Dire. Y'know, for a while, I thought nobody might know!

just too busy to visit my own site pal... =)

The CFCC logo had the Back to the Future music.
UniversalTVfan1994 3 years ago
Golbal Investment Limited? GOLBAL? This is probably the biggest spelling gaffe I've ever seen in an HK film logo.
Even worse than the first version of the more familiar Film City logo, where it says right under the logo, "FLIM CITY."
TServo2049 3 years ago
lol dont crack on flim city now!

It's even funnier to hear illegally ripped-off music, like the snippet from Back to the Future on the CFCC logo...

What movie did the Chi (HK) Film Production Co., Ltd. ident come from?
Nlangkirby135 3 years ago
What company is that at 5:33~5:46?
(1960's ident? 1970's ident?)
wva2reuy 3 years ago
It's Mei Hung Organization Production's ident from Taiwan, circa 1974.
dire398 3 years ago
Where did you get the Wang Fat Film Production co., Ltd. ident from?
Nlangkirby135 3 years ago
It's from Andy Lau's "Hong Kong Godfather".
dire398 3 years ago
Thanks.
Nlangkirby135 3 years ago
The Gold City Films Co. is one that I discovered.
Nlangkirby135 3 years ago
What a nightmare it is, too!

Really? Can you remember what movie does that logo come from?
cruiseshipz 2 years ago
which one cruise?
dire398 2 years ago
The Gold City Films Co.
cruiseshipz 2 years ago
You can find it in Ghost Nursing (1982) or Invitation of Ghost (1984), both starring old-school action star Norman Chui Siu-keung

At 6:14, there's a typo in the Oriental logo.
UniversalTVfan1994 3 years ago
Also, Oriental uses Aaron Copland's "Fanfare for the Common Man" as its theme...
TServo2049 3 years ago
What company is that at 5:28?
UniversalTVfan1994 3 years ago
And 8:32?

Lai Wah, Prince Films, Fong Cheng, Fortuna uses same jingle in idents.
wva2reuy 3 years ago
Those good o'days where copy is right LOL
You gave me a good idea in making a ident collection based on jingles =)
dire398 3 years ago
So does Pink Video, but it's short.

Whoa, those Chinese love monopolizing the KPM music there!
