i dont hate because i dont care. but if you will keep playing like this you wont get better. you are using only dowstrokes. this is easy song to play so you can play it with only dowstrokes. try to hold your pick between two fingers. index finger and thumb. trust me. at first youļl feel uncomfortable but very soon you will get used to it because its the right way for a reason. its just easier

Why would you even learn the limp bizkit version? Pete Townshend was a good guitarist. Learn his stuff and you'll get better and by the looks of it you need to if you're doing all down strokes. Also you're using your arm to pick too much, loosen up

I don't know how long you've been playing, but you should really alternate pick. At first it'll seem really awkward because you're doing all downstrokes, but it'll pay off in the long run. It's essential.

Dark Claw - First, learn the chords by strumming them in the sequence theyre presented in the vid. Strum the entire chord, dont pick the individual strings. Youll be able to hear the song progress even though it sounds a bit different. Pay close attention to the fingers, making sure theyre firm up against the back of the frets (unlike in the vid) to avoid buzzing or muting. Dont go on until you have this down solid; you cant build on a shaky foundation.

Now to the technique at hand - arpeggiation. This is the playing of individual notes in a chord by plucking each one separately. To start, individually pick all the strings in a given chord ascending / descending to hear the basic arpeggio. That is, 6-5-4-3-2-1 / 1-2-3-4-5-6. Note that these are string numbers, not fret positions as shown in the vid. 6 is the lowest pitch string, the low E, yet is the one on top of all the others. So, counting 6-5-41 is actually going up in pitch.

Finally, practice arpeggiating out of sequence. As an example, go up the strings 6-5-4-3 then back down to 4 then skip up and finish 2-1. Play around with any combinations that sound good to you. For plucking, when going up the strings (e.g. 6-5-4) pluck downward. When going down the strings (e.g. 1-2-3) pluck upward. This is the proper technique (unlike the vid) and gets the pick from one string to the next more efficiently, allowing you to keep time better.

Good job, but one thing I wish to express; Limp Bizkit coverd this song over the Who, therefore it would be great if you changed the description to "Behind Blue Eyes as covered by Limp Bizkit," or something along those lines. But hey, its your video. I just think its not right for Limp Bizkit to steal the credit for this song; their version has nearly 3 x as many views as the original version by the Who.
