Why baptize in the name of Father Son and Holy Spirit? Jesus names the 3 parts of The Triune God (Trinity).

You are made up of 2 major components a Body and a Spirit, both are created by God and put together as one. Jesus said God is a Spirit and I believe God is an eternal Spirit. God created Jesus' body and then his eternal Spirit entered into that body instead of a created Spirit and became one with that Body, just as your Soul is one with your Body. In 1 Cor 11:3, Paul was merely showing that as men we must be Christ to our women and God is the source of Christ so we are to be of God. He doesn't say that Jesus isn't God.

The ONLY place in the Bible that comes close to the trinity doctrine is 1 John 5:7 "...Father, the Word, and the Holy Spirit, and these three are one." BUT he showed how that passage was added to some Bible translations. (Read Bible footnote!)

If the Trinity is a theological fact and represents the truth from God, surely Jesus would have introduced it to his audience. He had ample opportunity. He would have said something like “Hear O Israel! The Father is God, the Son is God, the Holy Spirit is God, but they are not three Gods but one God”. Did he? NO! Instead he reasserted the absolute and indivisible unity of God who is One and Only (Mark 12:29 c.f. Deut 6:4). What does that tell you?

@zikr This is exactly how I believe Jesus can be God. I believe Jesus is God and this is logically how I believe it. You are made up of 2 major components a Body and a Spirit, both are created by God and put together as one. Jesus said God is a Spirit and I believe God is an eternal Spirit. God created Jesus' body and then his eternal Spirit entered into that body instead of a created Spirit and became one with that Body, just as your Soul is one with your Body. Or was this prophetic of something? Was God showing us what it would be like to sacrifice a son and what pain he would go through in the future when he offered up his son.

In 1 Cor 11:3, Paul was merely showing that as men we must be Christ to our women and God is the source of Christ so we are to be of God. He doesn't say that Jesus isn't God.
A few things about Rev 4:9-11, one, there IS only one God and one throne. You and I agree on that. The Bible indicates that God is also three. Father Son and Holy Spirit. He has a relationship with Himself in the trinity. Still just one God. The Holy Spirit is present in that passage. They call it the 7fold Spirit.

The ONLY place in the Bible that comes close to the trinity doctrine is 1 John 5:7 "...Father, the Word, and the Holy Spirit, and these three are one." BUT he showed how that passage was added to some Bible translations. (Read Bible footnote!)

In Ps. 82 you have a meaning of judges. Someone who can decide what is right. But more properly it means also powers, as unpersonal forces. So what it means is that he is the highest power, who rules over all powers (gods). Since nations around 'worshipped' idols as things which were food for them, as farms and livestock, etc...
