It always amazes me that the smaller birds like harris hawks and goshawks can take jacks =) Did you breed these? I had no idea that you did goshawks (your old apprentice is going to be my sponsor, but I've only been hawking with you once). I love how from such a young age they still have the eyes of a predator.
I'm hoping to fly a goshawk later in life. They are my favorite birds, aside from harris hawks.
Wow that is amazing and ha, ha, ha that one Goshawk cick kept taking the food from the others. Nice music too. It really represents a Goshawk well. Goshawks are awesome I hope to own one one day.
Aaron, I have seen this vid before but i have to say Good Job. I met you in Alamosa Last year and maybe someday ill get the chance to hunt with you in the future. Come down to colorado and we will have some jacks to play with.
Wide, short wings provide the acceleration and the longer tail allows tight turns. They are large enough to take many prey species from starlings/quail (0.1 lbs) to Jackrabbits/Geese (12+lbs).
There are many others but those two are the main advantages.
hey man, i just gonna received in 3 days a 15days imprint tercel gos, send me ur e mail , so i can be in touch with you and ask u sme question. i live in the states
Thanks for the offer man, but I am not the seller. My buddy is the breeder. I just fly 'em and raise 'em.. ;) I think the tiercels actually go for a bit more than 800 but if you are a liscensed falconer in the U.S. and are genuinly interested, message me and I can pass it along to my friend. If your out of the country I doubt my buddy would want to deal with the paperwork nightmare that is CITES...
hi man, my name is Raul , and i was wishing to had a gos for this year... and i will still like to have one, the thing is that i cant pay 800$ at once, if you can give me some kind of credit like for pay it in 3 or 4 weeks it will be awesome. do u have any tercel left?
Do babies start of that brown colour and as they age become that lovely grey colour?

Good passionate work to nurture the birds, create the content of that video, and to put it together - it shows.

Beautiful indeed. It's when we realize how magnificent they're that we appreciate their value to protect and conserve them.

Aaron, all of your falconry related videos are well thought out and informative for those of us just entering the sport.
I like the red tail videos from the one guy you filmed with his bird.
Keep up the good work. I plan on doing my best video journaling my trapping and manning come Sept.
