  • You can watch Vol Libre here: youtube.com/ AfY6jS9LB4U

  • The Millennium bug DID happen, but only in the games business where games developers and publishers starting losing their imagination and barely have any left, here, 10 years later!

  • Check out my rendition of Outlaws and Sam & Max Hit the Road on piano!

  • Ahh.. good-ole Lucasarts games.. with Sierra games that's gamers heaven.. before year 2000..

  • Thank you for this!!! Their games are THE BEST

  • Was the best company. WAS!

    1987-2000! Good times...

  • @monkeyislandclub I totally feel you on that. I'm old school like you... Monkey Island 2: LeChuck's Revenge was my favorite. Still, Tales of Monkey Island is pretty awesome in my opinion--ESPECIALLY the storyline. Yes, I know it was a TellTale Games release, but still... I'm hoping they do another season of it. Without spoiling it for anyone who hasn't played it, the thing you have to do right near the end (if you know what I'm talking about) is...well... touching. And so true. ;)

  • thanks for this!

  • When and where was this presentation?

  • It was at "Assembly", 2004, a large annual gaming and demo conference in Helsinki, Finland. Lots of fun! Amazing to see thousands of gamers simultaneously playing on their computers, non-stop, for several days.

  • LucasFilm were truly pioneers in the pc gaming scene. Rescue on Fractalus, Habitat (2nd life, eat your heart out!) and the following adventures that followed using the same technology...Labyrinth, Maniac Mansion, and finally the scumm system and Monkey Island.. *sigh* those were the days...

  • X-Wing! To this day X-Wing and Tie Fighter are still about as good as you can get for that genre of gaming.

  • Great. Especially like the hidden humour stuff in the games (Chuck the plant was fun). All lucasarts games are good.

  • Very much appreciated. This really gave me a nice experience and joy. Very funny since we're going through a lot of "old pc" games, so this was right in time :)

    Keep the oldskool spirit blooming!

  • An absolutely brilliant (and quite enlightening) trip down memory lane... Ahh.. the Lucasfilm days...
