@jbCIMORELLIfan His eyes opened about a minute in, so I think he was waking up from the raised sound levels or he was already waking up as they arrived. It's not uncommon for children to have almost a second sense that wakes them up when they get close to somewhere, almost like a built-in GPS that says "you're here" about 5 minutes before you arrive. I used to do it as well, sleep like a log on journeys and literally wake up as we pulled up the driveway. Merry Christmas!
