The Men Of Easy Company, 506 Div. 101st Airborne May Not Refer To Themselves As Hero's But Simply Regular Folks Doing What They Believed Was The Right Thing, Answering The Call In Their Country's Hour Of Need And Simply Doing Their Job. I Couldn't Agree More... They Don't Need To Say It, For Their Actions Speak Louder Than Any Voice, Any Word Could Ever Begin To Express.
These videos are made to honour those who fought, and those who died fighting. Whatever our various governments did before, during and after the war is another different matter.
Therefore politics should not be brought into this area for discussion.
Lets just watch and remember those who fought in the battle.
You're making a HUGE jump in logic from the U.S. turning away refugees to the U.S. being anti-semitic. The U.S. might have been turning away refugees because...IDK...it was the Great Depression and politicians were under pressure for people concerned about jobs. The U.S. public didn't know about the Holocaust at all until mid 1941 when articles in NY newspapers started reporting it. Regardless, if you want to have this conversation - then fine, but this isn't the place for it.
Your questions are real...disrespectful and innapropriate. This video honors men who sacrificed life & limb fighting the German army; it's not the place for your conspiracy posts. You're stereotyping Americans as anti-semitic without any proof. American soldiers weren't Nazi-sympathizers for extending German soldiers respect and courtesy after the war...just like not all German soldiers were Nazi sympathizers...just like I'm not a Nazi for disagreeing with you.
Can somebody please flag this jackass zionistboy? Somebody? I'm all for freedom of speech but this is ridiculous. Can someone please remove these posts?
CURAHEE C Co 1/506 INF, CP Greaves, '92-93. I had an expierence also from a my own "Band of Brothers" reunion after so many years, they found me and drove all the way to my house so us 4 could hang out and rehash old times in 2008. I love those guys. And GOD BLESS the WWII vets that created this moment for myself and Curahee brothers. Thanks.
Respect to the 101st airborne. They were original men that were trained to excel behind enemy lines. That concept is pretty new during that time. Massive airdrop operation was difficult to control and coordinate at that time. So these men are like trained to be very very good on their own and deadly when they are fighting as a unit. That's what made them so special.
I was in the army too but if you tell me that I'm going to be drop behind enemy lines with no support, no radio and have to find my own way to my platoon mates by myself I won't know what to do.
RIP Buck. We will miss you.

These guys are perfect example of true heroes.
all the other ww2 heroes should be given same repect and credit coz they also fought for the same cause.
i bet there were number of other companies with great heroes during ww2, so there should more dramas just like "band of brother" series about them.
