  • its a remarkable fying...

  • wow!!!! its amazing..

  • Wow! There's a MiG-15, or 17, at his six all the time!! Check the review mirror!! ;)

  • how fast were you going?

  • best flight of my life was when I igot bumped up to first class on British Airways. That is sad. I want to someday fly in an F-18 or Spitfire.

  • Dear Santa....

  • @MrBladeCrash It depends. If you're flying over a congested area (like a group of houses), then you have to be 1000' AGL. If it's not over a congested area, then you have to fly no shorter than 500' from any person, vessel, or structure. Beside from that, you can fly as low as you want; that is with-in reason/logic. Although if it's a wild life refuge, you can fly no lower than 2,000' AGL.

  • @N137LA The most enjoyable flight of my life was in a 152 with a friend who was a retired military and commercial pilot. We spent about 30 minutes buzzing islands on a big lake. We were loafing along at 1000' ft and when we came to the edge of the lake he said "Hold on!" and there we went to the deck. It wasn't real fast, but it was definitely a lot of fun.

  • Looks nice. But why fly so insanely low with an old warbird?

  • oh shit i see a b52 bomber in his rearview lol

  • MUITO BOM, ISSO AE LEMBRA GOIÁS

  • Titan t51? Seems to small for a p51 and the panel is different from any other I've seen. Not to mention I've only seen one p51 converted to a 2 seater. And the pilot is sitting pretty high in that cockpit.

  • @racerox1 No its a regular P-51D Mustang. Its name is "Ridge Runner III" go look it up. My grandpa is just a short guy so he has the seat pretty high up. And also just about every "D" model mustang is converted to have 2 seats.

  • In case of engine failure , that would be the last flight of them

  • 1 person got shot down by one of these.

  • I just threw my Playstation out the window...

  • I get chills everytime I hear this plane do a fly by. The single most epic sound of the planet. The only thing that comes close is a Mercedes McLaren (the shiny silver one).

  • if I had a P-51D, I would fly all day long with it!

  • So....How loud WAS it?? :)

    Great Video!!

  • This is a hell of a ride!!!

    fantastic...thanks for posting

  • just be careful with that warbird. she's priceless

  • I like the way you guys are being tailgated by a C-5 Galaxy at 2:00 in the rearview mirror....

  • How can you fly on P-51 ?

it used to be a fight aircraft

    can people just buy a P-51 ?

  • @TalTxD "used to be" being the key words there, we got someone who owns his own spitfire next to us at Biggin Hill, theres plenty of Civilian owned Hawker Hunters and Jet provosts around the UK too. You just need lots of cash if you want one!

  • @Crying11Wolf oh i see.

and they are real from the 40's? or they are remakes?

i guess the guns are disabled are just not there.

  • @TalTxD, genuine ones, the Spitfire at Biggin is post Battle of Britain, its a mark 9 called the "Spirit of Kent", got the invasion colours on

  • @TalTxD All ex military planes go under the "warbirds" category. You could even own jet fighters, if you could afford it.

  • @TheRequimen

and lets say you can afford one and you bought one.

you can park it in your own garden and make a short runway and just take off when you want like in the movies?

because in Israel . if you own a plane , you can park it only in the airports (and you pay for every day) , and if you want to take a fly you have to wait for permission and the airport have to match the time with the air force , but that's because Israel is small and the air traffic is kinda full.

  • awesome thx

  • Wait a minute...I thought Hollister only did Harleys!

  • I love this! I was lucky enough to ride in Bob Love's Livermore based white Mustang TWICE in one day in 1982, long before video cameras. Your video shows the way it is! We went to Air Nostalgia in Stockton. On the way home, he took off fast and held it low toward the A. N. hangar, pulled up and wrapped the plane around that checkered water tower. Awesome!!! 2 things I noted...the wings look too short from inside the plane and the engine sounded like an old flathead V-8 just barely above idle.

  • If I had seen this in person, my life would have been complete! Where's the AC based?

  • hollister, california

  • nice to see someone taking one of these old girls down on the deck for some fun stuff. takes balls though. no way of saving her if something goes wrong.

  • This looks vaguely familiar, maybe just a little west of Hollister? Maybe???

  • Bagheera2 you think srseaman is a lucky son of bitch, Dan is my grandfather i ride for free

  • My wife came in and said " what are you watching"??

    I said " plane porno"........

  • That's hilarious, it's the best one I've heard yet! What a ride it was. He lifted the left wing and I knew something was going to happen instead of just heading back to the field, I just didn't know it was this. There's another on YouTube of another Dan Martin passenger doing another canyon in the area, but I think I got the better ride.

  • @squadman33 Lol that's what I say to my boyfriend... :D

  • @squadman33 LOL

  • @squadman33 That's what it exactly is!

  • you LUCKY SON OF A BITCH...i envy you XD

  • awesome

  • lucky..

  • Now THAT is flying!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • is this one running a Merlin or Allison?

  • P-51 D has Packard Merlin engine.

  • thanks! what a beautiful aircraft.. especially when running a merlin for those high altitudes!! :P

  • that is pretty dangerous but I guess the P-51 has enough power to pull itself out of downdrafts and stuff caused by the mountains.

  • The P-51 Mustang is God's Testicles stuffed into a metal body.

Downdrafts just give it a hard-on.

  • Wow

  • LOL that has got to be the best line i have heard!!! keep em coming!

  • Pilot - DAN MARTIN / PLANE RIDGERUNNER III

    SPECTACULAR...

    MUCHO THANK YOU'S

  • i would do a loop, cork screw and smoke some mauii wowy... i'd die a happy man

  • This is by far, the best "lima lima" (low level) mustang footage I have ever seen. Yes, the pilot has a lot of guts and obviously a lot of proficiency. Great video.

  • @fbenenati My grandpa has over 3,500 hours in P-51s so yes he is a great pilot.

  • he had big balls

  • ...well,....someone has some money....

  • beautiful

  • So your the ones that always buzzed my house when i was a kid, I loved it, always had me running out my door to watch you guys fly over

  • it must be so cool and nice to fly a p-51 mustang

  • i like more the fw-190 but the mustang p-51 is so great. ths is by far one of the best combat planes of ww2

  • one of the best combat planes of ALL TIME

  • I'm assuming the pilot did ground recon for wires on the route before he ran it. Great show.

  • Hollister has so many warbirds now! Warbird Alley. Is this Straw Boss? I got to fly on Ridge Runner III with Dan and that was a trip I will never forget.

  • to be a p-51 pilot....

  • My favorite vid by far.

  • That must have been fun flying low through those canyons.

  • I didn't get nearly that much underware...I did get a ride in a Steerman at the fathers day fly in at columbia airport (O22)....that is a manly way to fly..open air in a wood and cloth machine.

  • I have had some strange rides in Hueys but I'd give my left nut for a p51 canyon run....heck, I'd give them both, I'm not using them anymore.

  • It's only a phone call and $750 away. This was a 55th b-day present from my wife.

  • My 55th was in August....I got underware.:-(

  • Can you take it back and do this instead? I'd recommend it....It was amazing

  • @srseaman I would keep the new underwear, figuring I would need them after the startup alone.

  • You must have a lovely lady my friend! I tried to get a ride in a P51 this year at Lelystad Airport here in Holland. But I got a bit reluctant when I heard for 20 min. 1100 euro's that about 1700 dollars I think. Still a must do for me but not for my wallet unfortunately ;-)

  • @srseaman i love ur wife for that reason if only i can find one that good im 14 so wish me luck in about 14 more years

  • Great video. Thanks for sharing.

  • Simpy amazing

  • Yes it is.

  • srseaman, are you the owner? I recently met the owner of Obsession.

  • This is the Ridge Runner III again correct?

  • Dude... looks like you had your own personal sleigh ride from Santa. How many chimneys did you make it down?
