@littledrawingfan Jockeys should not push faster then the horse is going, but they push the horses neck in stride to try to encourage the horses to run as fast and they can and extend their stride :)

@laughterbuddies0 Jockey's push hard on the horses neck in stride with the horse to try and make the horses extend themselves in the races, we also keep good contact with the bridle to help direct and maintain control.

I agree, I can't wait to get one someday too! It's cool, I love watching them on this video though and how they're riding...their form and everything in the jockey's saddle. You can see Mike Smith start riding even harder after Frankie say's 1/8 pole.

That is the Equicizer G-1 model, that is the most popular with all the riders racing and all disciplines. That picture was 3 years ago. The one Mike Smith is on was the 500 Equicizer I ever made, it's now at the Jockey's room at Churchill Downs.

The height limit is 5'7 for female jocks. As long as you can meet the weight you're fine.
