Ok first off, he said you have to be dev on iPhone other wise it will fuck you in the eye. Second, it does void it if they find out. If you can't deactivate you jailbreak before it is damaged, and you don't have cydia on, then it will be fine. Btw, a jailbreak is a exploit in the. iOS firmware making it so you can use user scripted programs, or in short, make it more like android except everything on apple store and user created apps are free.

@TC8432 jailbreak is very good if it starts working on your device without any problems, its not hard to jailbreak your device but its big risk because if ur phone do something wrong you cant undo your damage(while jailbreaking your phone is doing all of the work and there is 50%-50% chances to do it without damage)

@kanishka5prasad Turn off your Ipod Completely. Then Launch Itunes on your computer and then Press home button and plug ipod (connected to computer) at the same time... Home button + Plugging at the same time. then go to itunes. a popup will lead you how to recover ur ipod. (keep in mind that it will erase all your data)

@airrav74 this is the one. By jailbreaking it, you always get Cydia, the iPhone 4s is supported by Redsnow. In this cas though, the jailbreak is "tethered" so cydia won't work the first time, you need to proceed through the steps here 05:13 to boot up your iphone again and make it work, you will have to boot it up using this everytime until there's an untethered jailbreak released.

it is possible to update it to the jailbrake iOS5 by this way or this is just for idevices that had not been jailbroken before?

I heard that once you jailbreak your idevice you cant update it, or if you do you would lose everything.

@DiogosvRebelo ok, first off good job on having ipad, second if you update you will loose the CFW settings (custom firmware), third DO NOT update to a jailbreak, you must update the the original firmware first, then jailbreak it, otherwise for some reason you wont be able to use it and have to re- install original updates, no you shouldnt loose all your doc's or apps

Yeah jailbreaking is fun. But with the new iOS 5 you get cloud and wifi connecting and fancy stuff. But if you jailbreak iOS 5 apple will know because when you charge your device,it connects to your computer wirelessly. Don't jailbreak unless you want to be caught
