  • I am hula-hooping for my school talent show

  • this is helpful, thanks. around here, the moves are called vortex and halo though, instead of corkscrew and lasso.

  • @songbird193

hooping takes practice and time, just don't give up. it'll take awhile to get your flow.

  • Every time I try this, my hula hoop goes flying :/

  • @songbird193: ME TOO!!! but I keep trying and trying.

  • If you guys need help learning tricks suscribe to hoopsmiles, that guy breaks every step down and then shows it in slow motion. He really helped me with a lot of tricks...especially this one

  • It looks so easy when she does it TT_TT

  • why the heck do they move their legs like that??? no real person would EVER hula hoop like that unless their legs are spazzing out!!!

  • you guys suck at actually explaining things

  • i really liked this video! I will try these moves soon.. I have a weighted hoop, this will make it even more fun!! great job!!

  • this video didnt really help me

  • look at how many videos he has

  • HOW THE FUCK

  • Thank you

  • wow your really good i keep dropping it

  • LOVE u guys!!! I'm only 10, and you helped me soooooooooooooooo much!!!

  • I love her enthusiasm. Lol

  • You called this move the corkscrew, vortex, and lift up drop down, and made videos for each of them? they're all the same

  • @ArrowDynamics1 Im new to hooping, but i think the vortex is off the body. only touch with the hands?

  • Thanks paperclippe I`ve been searching everywhere for the ``avg`` size and weight of hoops used in dancing it`s amazing how little information there is on the actual hoop. =P I made mine out of PVC pipe but only 36`` and it weighed only 1.3 lbs so I just made a 41`` today

  • WOw! You're good. Very nice!

  • this helped a lot thanks so much

  • this video only explained the four variations of the cork screw, not how to do them.

  • @cAtInABlenDer use your eyes?

  • can u do this with a 30" diameter hoop?

  • this is the vortex right?

  • uhh, is my jaw supposed to be on the floor right now?

  • lol

  • this helped so much! thank you :D

  • after learning this one, it is my favorite move.

  • Do you use a special kind of hula hoop or is it just like the toy ones from any store?

  • The hula hoops used in hoop dancing are much larger and heavy than toy ones. You can make them with PVC pipe and electrical tape, or you can buy them from plenty of sites on the internet for about twenty bucks. They're usually about 40" round and weigh about two pounds.

  • Yes, thanks so much! I got it ...after hitting myself on the head about 10 times! lol You are good.

  • i thot this was called a lift

  • You guys are amazing! Your explanations are so thorough and have REALLY helped me in learning tricks with my hoop!!! Thank you so much for posting these!
