I've felt that sadness too -- not for the same reasons, but sadness that comes from desperation for something... anything... in your life to change so that you can feel hope for new things again. It's a scary thing to feel trapped by yourself, your life, and especially to realize that the things you love have brought you there. It's almost like betrayal, because what do you turn to when your refuge has become your prison?

Britney is great, but when I look at her performances now, it seems as though she has lost the true passion that she has. @Roxas660 She didn't upset her father, instead, her father had tears in his eyes bcuz that made his day, he said so himself. She got sad because she was talking about how people hear what she says to them, but they don't really listen to what she is saying, but rather they hear what they want to hear which is not recognizing her hurt and as she was talking about it, she got emotional and cried.

i dont know if its just me but she reminds me of marilyn monroe...the sadness their careers brought them. or have brought her for britney. it breaks my heart to see that with people i look up to. i look up to both her and marilyn and the similarities in the way fame has hurt them is just crazy.

It's funny how ppl get the "Lifestyles of the Rich and Fabulous" side but never really get the depth of how they really feel.
