i was sixteen/seventeen when The Smiths somehow found me. this was the song that pushed me over the edge. now, all of my friends say this song always reminds them of me. here i am at forty 48....that aint to bad a memory to have tied to you. it's not that the song parallels my life, it is just that it spoke/speaks to me and they wanted to kill me for playing it ALL the time. i saw MOZ in boston and he opened with this song. my daughter, 19 said she never saw me go as crazy as i did then.
