His repeat of an expeletive he overheard in a call to a Newsweekl edittor was in poor tarste and unfortuante. It dulled what I could hear from him u tge subsequent 40+ minutes. Even so, Jon's word rang with sober cohesion and I pray his contribution to history be significant and broad.
