  • 3:25 HEADSHOT!

  • That was one of the few lucky bullets that actually hits its target

  • "The question is, will it blend"

  • Epic story ''Life of the bullet''.

  • I shot an AK47 for the first time today and it inspired me to rewatch this :)

  • whats the songs name?

  • @misamsel "For what its worth" by Buffalo Sprigfield. Ironically, its not about war, but was written in response to curfew laws and the resulting Sunset Strip Riots.

  • @alienheadhahaha this is correct. Its about how unfairly the cops were treating the young protestors.

  • üHD! ? Wears is the 720p ???? OmG O.o

  • I am blown away that this movie has 61% on Rotten Tomatoes. People are fucking retarded.

  • @Sduibek Actually, 61% on RT is not bad at all. Few movies make into the 90s, and your film has to be really good to even get an 80, especially if lots of people rate it.

  • It reminds me off the droid factory in Star Wras

  • @PaleRiderOnTheStorm There was never a Droid factory in Star Wars. I think you must be confused by the fake movies made by George Lucas without the help from any of the people that made the originals great.

  • G-Man :)

  • @vlada881 Almost ;)

  • I used to love this song cause I thought it was a powerful war song, then I read it was about teens protesting a curfew and loitering laws in Sunset Strip LA...This world is fucked

  • @Cietru For serious? That's... disappointing.

  • Where can I get an MP3 of this song?

  • Probably the last good movie Nick Cage made

  • @Theburn77 Why?

  • Great movie!

  • I see this opening sequence to 'lord of war' (Cage) as a separate

and distinct and better movie than what follows... It is, I think,

about how the darkness hypnotizes evildoers into seeing

skin colour as a team uniform. Hence, the children of darkness

slaughter the children of darkness, while the lambs (the children

of light) get caught in the cross-fire.

  • I think it would look better, if camera was placed on the other end of bullet, making it "first-person"

  • this is what the kill cam on cod should look like (and before all you anti cod people dislike this comment i hate cod i have bf 3 and didnt buy mw3 cuz it look the same as mw2 im just saying this as a joke )

  • This is one of the best introduction videos of any movie in history. That ending to this introduction really hits home the reality of wars.

  • Best intro !

  • Such a badass movie. Interestingly enough the arms dealer its based on; Viktor Bout was finally found guilty in a US court on all counts.

  • The question is, HOW'D IT GET BURNED? HOW'D IT GET BURNED?

  • one of the few good films nick cage is in. i would say only, but i haven't seen raising arizona yet

  • This movie is so underrated.... I met NC on Brighton Beach when they were filming this.

  • Thanks for the HD 480p my video card had to be overclocked to handle this

  • güzel agalar

  • Story of my life

  • 3:24

He Still Remains Calm In An Intense FIrefight.

  • The birth of a bullet is the death of a man.

    -Me-

  • @diecartmandie or a cat :(

  • @diecartmandie Or a woman. Sexist.

  • @Bagheadman The birth of a bullet is the death of a human being

    -Me-

There you go bagheadman, i hope your happy now!

  • @diecartmandie That's bigoted toward bullets.

Most bullets just sleep in the chamber.

ME. MUCH better than your "quote."

  • @Bagheadman The only thing that bullets cannot kill is hatred.

    -Me (Anticristus)-

    Beat that one!

  • @Bagheadman Oh and btw... Most bullets dont sleep in the chamber because this is really dangerous and that's why most people puts them in a box that they put in a safe (never keep bullets in a gun, even if its not loaded). So i would rather say this:

Most bullets just sleep in the box.

  • @diecartmandie Both of the things you said are stupid.

The birth of a bullet is the death of a human being.

    (Me)

There. Far better than any of the trite you were spouting.

  • @Bagheadman Question, should archery be illegal? Is the birth of an arrowhead the death of a human being? Both were invented for war and hunting, yet you don't see people clammering to make it illegal. There is reasons for civilians to own a gun for non-violent reasons, like marksmanship (a real sport, that is in the Olympics) and hunting. It can also be used for personal defense like in the US (Canadian here).

Have you even ever fire a gun, or even SEEN one? I am going to assume not...

  • @IoncannonSat1 I have many guns, and shoot them at least once a day.

I don't know why you are asking me this, as I was simply proving my amazing powers to this fool.

  • @IoncannonSat1 How often do you hear of a bow and arrow killing someone, when compared to a gun killing someone?

  • @IoncannonSat1 Because it's TOTALLY bows and arrows that are used to slaughter tens of thousands of people daily. It were French, German, US and Russian bows and arrows that encouraged Iraq to start the ten-year Iran-Iraq war. It's Belgian bows and arrows that turned dozens of sizzling low level tribal feuds into full blown genocides.

Bows and arrows are exactly the same as guns. Obviously.

  • @PeZook Both are weapons and both have killed many men. I will argue that the bow has killed MORE the guns, due to the fact we have had guns for what... 300 years? The bow has been used as far back as 16,000 BCE. Just because it is outdated, doesn't mean it's less a killer. Hell in WWII Jack Churchill (Wiki him) killed German soldiers (with guns) using a longbow. Honestly, it's silly your scared of an inanimate object. ANYTHING can be turned into a weapon (Knife, Hammer, even a beer bottle)

  • @IoncannonSat1 Holy shit, it's great how you accuse me of using shitty logic, when you failed to notice I was in fact talking about the INTERNATIONAL ARMS TRADE not your silly American gun obsession (P.S. check your murder rates. Guns totally prevent crime!). International trade, you know, the thing tackled in the movie?

You are using a non-sequitur by bringing up bows and arrows. RIGHT NOW the massive piles of weapons floating around the world are used to murder people by the thousands.

  • @PeZook it's the person wielding it who is at fault. You'd rather have everything YOU don't like banned, because it scares you. You talk about wars and genocides, when this is about a law-abiding citizen hunting and shooting targets. Do you like dogs? Hitler liked dogs SO YOU MUST BE A NAZI RIGHT? Same fucking retarded logic that you use.

  • @IoncannonSat1 The people who receive weapons from international trades won't change if the gun trade stops ; THEIR BODY COUNT will, because now they will be forced to fight their wars with machettes. What's so difficult to understand about this?

This is an entirely separate issue from gun control in America, which Americans don't like to talk about because they have to face the reality that the US is one of the biggest arms traders in the world, and thus complicit in mass slaughter.

  • @PeZook but we are humans, no matter what we do we will always kill each other in many violent ways, heck when we go into space and make contact with other aliens we will most definitely fight wars on other planets, history is forever doomed to repeat itself

  • @cartoonkingforeever you sir are wrong.. humans didn't allways killed themself.. we started this because of property.. in a world which was ruled by anarchism, there would be no war.. i know what i talk about, i studied war history :) there is still hope..

  • @CsDeathshadow dude you sir are an idiot since the beginning of our evolution humans have always killed each other, anarchism will not solve anything because it only takes one person to think "hay if i get a ton of guns and weapons me and my buddies could take over" dude anarchy is the stupidest idea in human history, humans need government, without it we are chaotic brutes, sorry but wake up and look at the real world and stop fantasizing.

  • @CsDeathshadow The world is a shitty place, full of greedy people in power trying to get even more. Trust me and everyone else who's saying the same on this video, the day humans stop killing eachother is the day we HAVE killed eachother.

  • @CsDeathshadow Just because you study something doesn't mean you understand it. Having access to information and being able to process that information are two vastly different things.

  • @PeZook You really think Blacks in Africa will stop fighting? before whites went there they fought with knives, and sticks, the Zulu tribe was a massive army with spears, they will kill each-other guns or not, i am from south Africa, i know them well, getting rid of guns will only make peoples death, a slow and agonizing experience rather then a quick painless death, not to mention do u think Russia will stop making weapons? Best thing to do is make sure you are better armed then every one else

  • hell yeah brother

  • @wowzinger If you read what I wrote instead of immediately switching into your defending your pet issue of the day (LOL BLACKS R VIOLENT), you'd notice that I did in fact say people would still fight their petty wars.

But guess what? Wars fought with machetes and knives and sticks kill FAR LESS PEOPLE than if fought with guns. That's why people bother with buying rifles, for god's sake :D

Also, you're a fucking idiot if you think getting shot is in any way "clean" or "painless".

  • @PeZook i said blacks because this video involves blacks not to mention you can't deny the truth, south america is just as poor but not half as violent, i beg to differ, it has made killing easier, but thats not to say less people would die with out them, wars would just last longer, south Africa, a very large part of the murders are done with rudimentary weapons, like knives, what does that point out, it happens either way,

  • @wowzinger God, this is such brilliant logic. Tell me: since domestic abuse will happen anyways, does this mean we should arm all domestic abusers with automatic weapons?

Of course not. Killing with machettes and knives is more difficult and more dangerous. Therefore it makes waging war more difficult, therefore it means less people die in a given time. In addition, wars cannot last indefinitely: an army armed with knives eats just as much as a fully mechanized force.

  • @wowzinger To add: OBVIOUSLY Africa needs more than stopping the gun trade ; There are no magical solutions in life. This does not mean the gun trade should NOT stop, only that it's not the only thing that needs to change.

  • @PeZook what i am trying to say is live your own life Africa is not your problem, let them kill each-other, its not you problem, the reason Africa is a hell is the fault of people like you. Its long story short but handing the governments of Africa from the whites to the blacks destroyed all the development that happened. Africa is the way it is because because the blacks arnt educated,or moral, and thats your fault because you destroyed the white governments that were trying to fix africa

  • @wowzinger God, I love how you try to frame everything in the concepts of your pet issue , even when the discussion has nothing to do with it. Pray tell, who are these "people like me",anyways? I guess you already judged and labelled me with some convenient definition :D

  • @PeZook Of course that is also the problem with gun debates. It's so infused with emotion, that people don't look at facts. IE: The repealing of the LGR in Canada. The people who oppose it and want more gun control don't bring any facts that show it is a waste of money, and does nothing but hurt law-abiding citizens. Instead it's people's sob stories, which the LGR couldn't help with ANYWAY (illegal guns)!

  • @diecartmandie

Wrong buckwheat- those who carry guns let'em sleep in a box like you've described. Those of us who USE firearms always keep them loaded- because its the difference between life and death

  • 7.62x39mmR

  • Headshot +50 points

  • only thing that hurts this intro is at 2:23 the bullet rolles in a circular motion so you know there is a camera attached to it.

  • if you liked this movie you'll love bowling for columbine

  • @aadeebindy Clever.

  • see, why can't war games come up with a kill cam like this.

  • Boom headshot!

  • This movie kicks ass, so does this song. Question though, I've never purchased ammunition in bulk like that, but don't they normally put them in those sleeves? With all the bullets pointing up? I suppose that would make this intro boring as hell, but just saying.

  • @OneTwentyMN They actually come in a spam can wrapped in paper for every 20 rounds then they put two spam cans in one of those wooden crates like in the movies, they skipped all that in the film since as you can imagine it would probably make it longer.

  • @MrGunman11 I was kidding. I saw your comment in my inbox thinking that it was mine, sat there thinking "when the fuck did I write that." So I came back here to comment and say I must have been drunk or fucked up on something to write shit about bullets in spam cans. But I didn't write your comment. Funny shit.

  • @OneTwentyMN lol

  • This is the only good part of the movie... it went downhill after the song finished.

  • if this was my bullet at beginning when i bit that 7.62 by 39 in my gun it would go into a rabbit or deers head

  • There was a time when skill and courage were necessary to really use a weapon effectively, then came the gun...

  • @PabloPena108 It skill takes a lot of skill to use the gun. And just think about the soldiers who used the first guns like the musket, those guys would have a lot to say to you if they were still alive.

  • @PabloPena108 and it made our lives a HELLUVA LOT EASIER!!!!!

  • @PabloPena108 i think Seal team six would disagree.

  • best intro ever

  • Partially seeing this for Jared Leto...

  • @doodiedude125 That's because in those countries kids are trained to shoot and kill at an early age. There's a quote from this movie that goes, "A bullet from an 8 year old is just as effective as one from a 40 year old".

  • eugene stoner pressed and jammed his M-16 10 times
