@CGras I got that same little pump, works like a charm especially in combination with an air tank. I used the blatter that came with the device. Good job, I like it!
Is that a Maisto rc toy? If i'ts the vw maisto toy is exactly a 1:10 scale. A perfect 1:10 scale. i have measured it and confronted with a blueprint of a 1:1 vw real bus and all the measures match perfectly!
is this just a hardshell on a custom setup, or did you mod the stock chasis? I got the same bus sittin around and Im not sure what to do with it. Possibly a pick up?
very nice. i am building a 1/4 scale custom truggy with a goped racing engine and trying to take it to the max one of a kind rc car and was thinking about rigging paintball regs and qev's. do you know how much pressure and travel they can with stand, and maybe if possible send me a pic of your setup would be highly appreciated!
i don't know exactly how much pressure and weight they can take. But I dont thinks that they can withstand that much because they only have plastic housings. The travel maxes out at about 40mm.
Unfortunately I don't havea pic of the chassis and I've taken the bus apart again because I needed the chassis for another build which doesn't use pneumatics anymore. ;-)

What did you use for a compressor?
ITELADZ 4 months ago
@ITELADZ
I used a pump from an electric blood pressure measuring device.
Don´t know how they´re called exactly. :-)

enginemiester 11 months ago
@enginemiester
I didn´t use airbags. I used pneumatic cylinders from Lego.

Is the scale correct? I have a 1:10 chasis and It seems much bigger
GavinTimleck 1 year ago
@GavinTimleck The bus is more like 1:12 scale.
I put it onto an M-chassis with a longer wheelbase.

@GavinTimleck
I put the body onto a modified Tamiya chassis. The stock chassis is useless in my opinion.

what kind of neumatics are you using? and how did you create the bags?
lynchanator11 2 years ago
I used Lego pneumatics. I installed the 4 cylinders intead of the standard shocks and use a small airpump to create the pressure.
