Unfortunately only full-bodied archtops can sound like full-bodied archtops. You can roll off your tone knobs but it lacks the - for lack of a better word - "hollow" sound. The complexity. Some folks do that, but I don't think it makes the guitar sound at all like a jazzbox. It's much more complex than "light" vs "dark." Most of the classic jazz records are archtops with the tone knobs wide open. Hope this helps.
Beautiful, Kevin. Very precise picking, nice chord vocabulary, clear sound, etc. Allow me to point out just one minor (in your case) detail. The passages between chords could be even smoother, more fluent. That said, it's still beautiful, thanks for posting these and the lessons too. From Lisbon, Portugal
Hi, I'm a Brazilian guitarist and would like to buy your cd. How do I do this?

As far as I know the only difference is cosmetic. This one has abalone trim around the body and abalone neck inlays.
