  • Hi, I'm a Brazilian guitarist and would like to buy your cd. How do I do this?

  • What City are you working most in?

  • I Live in Durham North Carolina. I work mostly in the Raleigh/Durham area.

  • Very good feeling !!! well play , it's beautiful

  • magnifique!

  • Great great playing.

  • how can i make my fender stratocaster HSS sound like this?

  • Unfortunately only full-bodied archtops can sound like full-bodied archtops. You can roll off your tone knobs but it lacks the - for lack of a better word - "hollow" sound. The complexity. Some folks do that, but I don't think it makes the guitar sound at all like a jazzbox. It's much more complex than "light" vs "dark." Most of the classic jazz records are archtops with the tone knobs wide open. Hope this helps.

  • this was a reply to moogsound's question. for some reason my reply got moved to the top of the page.

  • Very tasteful and beautiful tone! Congratulations! I enjoy watching your videos very much.

  • Kevin, i just came back for a re-listen and dang, it still gets me what a great arrangement this is!

  • you really play good man

  • Great tone.

    Marcelo Maya

  • beautiful, very tasteful, nice tone!

  • if i got the 16 inch model would it still sound like a 17 inch one like yours? its 795 bucks

  • Hi studiobuddy:

I realize this post is now a year old but still, where are you finding D'Angelico's for 795 & 895?

  • i mean the difference between this one and the model down thats 895

  • wuts the main difference between this model and the xl? i cant decide which one to get

  • As far as I know the only difference is cosmetic. This one has abalone trim around the body and abalone neck inlays.

  • Kevin, that is gorgeous man! great playing and lovely tone!

  • Absolutely beautiful!

  • That is great man, nice tone, creative lines.

  • Beautiful, Kevin. Very precise picking, nice chord vocabulary, clear sound, etc. Allow me to point out just one minor (in your case) detail. The passages between chords could be even smoother, more fluent. That said, it's still beautiful, thanks for posting these and the lessons too. From Lisbon, Portugal

  • Don't you just love it.

  • Great playing!

  • Really nice work!

  • I love those D'Angelico guitars....but i don't have one yet.

  • I just put mine up on eBay, a 1999 New Yorker with custom single coil pickup. Check it out.

  • ...i will!

  • Bravo, bravissimo !

    marleo

  • Bravo! Wonderful playing.
