ohh wow...ur hho generator rocks.. i just made mine...but gives me no hho gas...at all ..i m testing it roght now... i m using 12 volts ac adapter for power supply........ but still not getting anything......... pls help... distance between my plates is 0.8 mm...and i m using water + baking soda...... cause i m testing.............. i think i get poor hho cause of my 12 volts ac adapter...... what u think..
@mrmorganuk ok,here goes,1st you need a 15 to 25 amp12volt source. use ur jumper cables on ur car. plates need to be around 1/16th when compressed spacing. go to a hardware store, walmart, etc and find drain clogger remover crystals, these crystals r sodium hydroxide. this way better than baking soda. please read all blogs in my 4 videos and you will know just about everything to have a great start and a good foundation of the way it all works together. it's logical once you know, cheers, vs.
Why? Gas burns at a slower rate. using 100% hho In your car makes more sense to me... With a large tank and a few of those high output genorators yopu could get some good distance..
hho is not for horsepower increase or to replace gasoline. it is stricly for helping the gas burn more efficiently. realize that 60% of your gasoline is running completely through the cycles of your engine and not being burned except after it goes through the catalytic converter to complete the burn. in other words over-riding the electronics to allow hho into the burn cycle to be more efficient without the computer reading lean oxegen output and pumping more gas into your intake than needed.
What are you trying to accomplish? Is this a rube Goldberg space heater? Does the internal combustion engine drive your DC power source? Can you measure any horsepower decrease of the internal combustion engine when you remove the HHO gas from the carburetor snorkel?
At 126degrees thered have to be alot of water vapour, if you want an acurate output test ,try running the gas through a secondary bubbler and aquarium stone to get rid of the water vapours.
thegreatkoua> Let me guess, you haven't actually tried this and you're just talking shit. Fairly typical. The amount of power required to spin an alternator is minimal, especially with new alt tech. Alternators tend to be fairly efficient, especially when the engine is at cruising speeds since higher RPMs overcome the magnetic inertia easily. So what if you hear your engine load a little when you turn on your lights idling; you don't hear it AT ALL while cruising.
I looked at some EPDM rubber for roofing at Menards and some shower pan liner that appears to be about 3/64" thick. Is the shower pan liner about the correct thickness for between the cell plates or what is the perfect gap?
At those temps I am sure some of what you are measuring is steam. Just take the lid off a hot tub at 104 and watch the steam. Try more neutral plates and keep temps below 80degrees and re-measure. Looks great.
I was referring to the MSDS sheet on sodium hydroxide. I only use sodium hydroxide for plate conditioning then I switch to KOH but the MSDS reveal how nasty both chemicals can be.
Excellent work! I'm trying to make the same unit as your video shows. The only thing I'm not to clear about is that you failed to mention how many holes, size, and spacing are drilled into your internal plates to get your maximum flow rate.Great work!
Hey varibale, nice setup mate! is it just gravity your using to move the H2O into the sealed-cell design, or is it being pumped around? Or maybe the suction from the engine assisting in moving the body of water in a cycle? I'm really lost mate, help me out :) Awesome design & hello from sunny England :D
some people seem to be worried about a backfire; how many times have you seen a fuel Inj. car or truck do this unless it throws a timing belt an older carb might; but not so much a inj. car !!
Hey, Im very new to all this, how often would you need to change the electrololyte? In this system how easy is it to change because surely this is one barrier to making these systems commercially viable? Have you done any test on how this effects fuel economy? Thanks anyway, good to see people taking some innitiative!
I would really love to know how the cell works on the inside once the water/baking soda mix hits the plates at the bottom and then converts to almost pure hydrogen at the top on the other side
Nice video. PWM frequency? Is your bubbler both feeding the cell and collecting gas? (couldn't see your routing clearly). Bottom line - mileage gain and will the cell leak in time? Also, how do you clean out the residue?
Dunndeer,TheNoted1,i'll mess. you on where you may get great s.steel 316L,stamped to your design.the sealed cell in this video is with PWM.check out the other 2 vids i have on hho, they are direct to 12volt car running = 13.5 volts. the spacing on the 18 gauge s.steel 316L is about1/16th(1/32 gasket w/silicon on both sides). plates are scratched inside area w/diamond sandpaper and are treated w/distilled water bath/wash,then w/distilled wht vinigar wash/bath, then rinse w/distilled water.
hydrobenman, ReisendeEuropa, your right on the bubbler situation.we need to stay riminded of the explosiveness of hho.i plan to put a small intermediary bubbler in between the line that also will have a small blow-out opening in case of hho backfire. for the prius or any other car, with the addition of hho you have to modify your o2 sensors and your map/maf sensors.smaller cars can gain big with hho.icing on cake here, don't go overboard with o2/map/maf because you can lean your engine to much!
Klasniedryg, two units would be cooler at running temperature although a little more room needed. it would be really cool seeing two/three of these sealed units pumping out hydro together into one output. for best hho output it would be at least 20-27 amps per unit. large trucks or semi's would be able to handle this amperage load. these sealed cells would make a nice package under the hood.
Nice work man can you share the spacing dimension and type of stainless you used? maybe you said but I missed it. keep up the good work.More videos we love HHO videos
Hope this helps mate, 316L Stain-less Steel a.k.a Marine or Surgical steel is always used from reading around..

Question Where do you get the Stainless Steel Plates.......
Hard to Get stainless in Calgary Alberta Canada though I might not be looking in the Right place....
Calgary Metal might be a good first start.....But I would have to get it Cut and Drilled to it was 2 Anodes 1 Cathode and 2 Neutral I had good Production on Mine
that is a great job, but don't u think if the engine back fired that it would travel through that bubbler...because it is a lot of hydro going through it, you need to rethink safety on the bubbler. I know, mine exploded with a better bubbler then that....
ReisendeEuropa i think the amperage you would use on the unit would be less but still way enough hho to enhance your present fuel's capacity to fully burn giving you40-60% more room for improvement. hho on demand & gas work hand in hand, simple. total hho is being done by some on little engines/lawnmower,but i don't know the amount of hho, which is probably more than the units can produce today from a cars engine/alternator. this hho unit is compact/rugged though being perfect for smaller cars.
How high are the current gains? 40-60% is great but sounds too great. It seems that a hybrid like the Prius could go from 4L/100km(58mpg) to around 2L/100km(117mpg) just by adding HHO. Is it really so good?
so how much would you have to create to run a small engine just on the HHO? say a smart car with a 0.8L engine? your design looks perfect for use in a small vehicle.
good suggestion, will do test with 1 liter bottle. fyi, the bubbler bottle is a 1.5 liter bottle for sizing in video. good info and suggestions from others as well. will apply this added info to project for further data results.

You said the plates are stamped to maintain integrity of the stainless steels properties. How do I do that? Or do they come that way?

the more amps the more heat. the more amps the more gas is use to power the cell good luck with saving gas.

just be careful with sodium hydroxide your makeing chlorine gas along with that Hydrogen
KOH is alot safer.
hhoguru232004 3 years ago
and where does the chlorine gas come from?
you are talking about sodium chloride aka table salt i think

Sodium hydroxide is NaOH. Where is the Cl?

I have read some figures that the average size car would need @ 100 lpm of hho to run it.
As it stands, all the hho systems out today are only good for helping the engine burn fuel more efficiently.
Hopefully this will change, but there is a lot of work that needs done before we run an vehicle totally on hydroxy.
Of course if you never set a goal, you'll never attain it.
