  • Viola Davis did an AMAZING job in this movie.

  • @4shacks1house , ur a fucking bitch come fight me ! , making fun of ma niggas ? little punk bitch, fuck you

  • This move is breath taking. :)

  • I would not have any nigga bitches in my kitchen now that I know they fed shit to children. Real nice eh?? And you fucks say this is a good movie?? Fucking lemmings to the last. Useful idiots to the end. Nigga please!!

  • You know what this movie is about? Both races working together. It's based on a true story, so to answer your rude response, KiddDynamite. It isn't dissing blacks. And if you look on the History channel, you can watch all the white history movies you want, ok? And last of all, I have a friend who is so called "mixed breed", and she is the smartest person you will ever meet!

  • @ZoraElise2000 I understand if you mean the film is based on real life as in maids especially black maids in the 60's in America, but the actual story and stories within it aren't real. At the back of the book the author writes how she had a black maid as a young girl, but the stories within the book are not real. Although me and my friend were sure it was real until we read the book.

  • when i saw this ... the ending made me cry so much .. <3

  • movie was ok not great. I read so many great reviews but when i saw it it wasn't that good. Not really a funny nor a sad movie Not a powerful movie either.

  • @Tonster1998 Really? I literally JUST finished watching it.. And i though it was one of the best Movies i have seen. It touched so many of my Emotions. I think it is DEFFINATLY worth the watch !

  • For those who think this is such a "great" film. Check out what the Association of Black Women Historians Comment on the book and film were.

For all of you who LOVE the movie and think its the greatest thing despite all its stereotypes et al, you ARE part of the problem as you are complicit in systems of oppression (negative stereotypes - white woman saves poor blacks etc.)

For racists though (or those who don't care about fairness), this is the best movie ever.

  • 0000H FEATURETE FANCY

  • there's some serious debating going on here isn't there. wowowow can we all just sit the hellar down and watch this pleasantly made film trailer.

  • I can understand why bboymike3492 can be offended by blackien5 last sentence because instead of using the word 'sometime' you allowed the sentence to incorporate everyone of that race, so now it makes it seem like you think all african americans are babyish, immature and can never be satisfied. Bboymike3492 made the point that he agreed with most of what blackien5 said, which obviously killkiilaugh2 failed to pay attention to. Maybe you should choose your words more wisely.

  • @bboymike3492

complain about it. I think its silly that black people want their story to be heard but think its racist when a white person has wrote it

They want their or their past families hardships to be known, but doesnt want a white person to say it? Even though i'm assuming that this movie is to show that story to white as well as other races.

Therefore, there are some black people who never be satisfied

  • @killkilllaugh2 Allow me to re-iterate what I clearly stated in my previous comment. I AGREED with what most of blackien5 had to say. Do I think it's babyish that some blacks run around saying everything bad that happens to them is because they're black? Of course I do. However, blackien5 worded his last sentence to make as if ALL blacks were babyish and immature. So when he said "There's no pleasing blacks, is there?", he was referring to how YOU as well as every other black person is immature.

  • @bboymike3492 cool story bro.

And his statement can be taken either way. But there is a 99.99999999999 percent chance he wasnt referring to us all

i didnt take it as if he was referring to us all

  • @killkilllaugh2 Perhaps you should read a little more carefully next time, Mr. man who is "part black." It makes you look quit idiotic and dumb when you misinterpret something just because you didn't read (Or refused to notice) part of what someone had to say. Oh and one more thing: Just beacues you're black does NOT mean that I cannot call you a racist, racist. I can call you whatever the heck I want to call you. Just because you're black doesn't mean that you still aren't prejudiced, imbecile.

  • @bboymike3492

How's that racist? I understand that statement he wrote and you cant call me racist because i'm black, part black at least.

The are alot of black people who think everything bad that happens to them is because theyre black. They want to be treated with respect and equally and dont like bieng judged for stereotypes, but that is how they act and wont change.

For some black people, no matter how much change there has been, they dont think it is enough and jump at every chance to com

  • wonderful story

  • black white green.. who cares? its what's inside that counts, not what color your skin is or shape your eyes are. Yes, we are different, and yes its important to be proud of where you come from but dont let that pride convince you that you or someone else is better just because of superficiality. when I tuck my daughter in to bed every night I tell her G-d has no color, He's like water, and he loves us all the same. G-d is full of love, its not reserved for any specific race. It's for everyone

  • @Bigblue2ful

fuck white people and niggers I only like Spanish thanks

  • ahhhhhhh... am bout to start crying...

  • who gives a freak what color you are, it's what on the inside that counts in the end . And that's really all that matters . This is a great movie to prove that .

  • And now I'm treated like s--- when I'm working my route in the black part of town. What comes around goes around but it doesn't solve anything.

  • I am reading this book right now in Rusian and it is amazing!!!! And I want to watch the movie but unfortunately don't know when it will be released in my city. (((((((

  • All of the actors in this movie were awesome...every last one of them!

  • Lean nuestra reseña en español… muy buena!

  • Minny don't burn fried chicken.

  • The movie makes me cry cause it reminds me when I use to take the black help out behind the barn and whip the tar out of um. Had to , had to, only way to gets them to work. Now I feels bad, really bad

  • Minnie and Cissy Spacek stole the show.

  • I think the brilliance of the book is that it shows that in this hateful time, there were some black people and white people who cared for each other despite the world telling them not to. I personally liked Aibileen, Minny, and Skeeter and they were all very different characters that united for an important cause. Can't wait to see the movie!!!

  • What an awesome movie. If you haven't seen it go see it. But be ready to laugh and cry at the same time. No matter who we are we should never forget where we came from and we should all learn from the past so we do not make those same mistakes again. God Bless you all.

  • I watched this with my mother yesterday. I cried so much and I laughed just as much. I am so glad things aren't like that anymore but it is defenitally a movie to see.

  • Some of these comments just show how hypocritical & babyish many blacks are. They run around crying no1 cares/acknowledge our history/our ancestor's experiences w/ slavery & racism. Yet when they do, they're racist. Here's something based on a novel written by a white woman who wanted to show our past & painful experiences, but because she's non-black doing this, she's racist because she in their minds wants us to be slaves again. Stupid & ridiculous. There's no pleasing blacks, is there?

  • @blackien5 i am black, i read this book, i think it was a really good book and i am sure will enjoy the movie. Stop stereotyping!! There are "black" sheep on both sides of the aisle

  • @ejjunju I'm not stereotyping. I'm speaking the truth.

  • @blackien5 Yet, by saying that.. it is being racist. I am not black. But who cares? By saying there is no pleasing blacks, that is implying that white people can be pleased and black people cannot. Which is completely untrue. That is completely racist.. think about what you write before you publish it for the world to see. Because some people could take what you're saying in the wrong way, though I'm sure you don't mean for it to be racist.. just a thought..

  • @guavagirl5280 1. I'm black & I'm not being racist. 2. I never said anything about whites, so don't put words in my mouth. 3. With all due respect, you don't blacks as well as you think you do, not to disrespect you/what you're saying, but still.

  • @blackien5 With all due respect to you, if you are black why are you saying blacks can't be pleased? And though you didn't say anything about whites, that's what you are implying..

  • @guavagirl5280 that does not imply whites can be pleased. Quit being another pc idiot. Blacks and whites aren't joined at the hip, a negative comment on one, doesn't equate to a positive comment about the other. There are also Asian, Middle Eastern and Hispanic people in this world. Quit being so narrow minded and assume everything is a Caucasian-Negro issue.

  • @Volf99 it wasnt meant to be a big deal.. i was just confused on what was being said.. so please stop being mean and just let it go. i know there are other people in this world and there are other issues.. so please stop being mean to me

  • @guavagirl5280 You were confused? Is that why you were accusing blackien5 of being racist? How is that the behavior of someone who is confused? You sound convinced in your previous statement that blackien5 was making a racist comment. You didn't ask anything, you told. That isn't the behavior of someone who is confused, its the behavior of someone convince in their belief.

I treat everybody the same, so why should I give you special treatment?

  • @Volf99 I feel like i am being bullied by a youtube user and that is not what youtube is about, it is about sharing videos and happy things. So I'm sorry if I upset you or anything. I really am truly sorry if you are offended, so please just let it go

  • @guavagirl5280 You didn't offend me, you annoyed me with your narrow minded comment about someone. Granted I don't think that Black people act like children and are hypocritical, but like I wrote before, Blacks and Whites are not the only kinds of people on this planet and a insult for one, is in a subtle compliment for another. Also, next time don't make a comment if you don't want others to read and reply to it, because that is part of what YouTube is about.

  • @Volf99 ok well i am sorry i annoyed you.. i didnt mean to imply that i didnt acknowledge all the other poeple in this world. so again.. im sorry

  • @blackien5 coming from an american hillbilly teabagger?? ok sure

  • @blackien5 You have such a passion for what you believe in but why would any person be pleased with being ''The Help''

There are some people that find black people acting ''black'' as entertaining.Where is the genuine humor in black people eating chicken?Where is the line between been laughed at and laughing with? Im not saying the movie had bad intentions but why is it so wrong for anyone to be rejective just as you are?

  • @hopeboi I never said I found it funny. & the whole "acting black" stereotype is ridiculous. That's something black punks say when they don't get their way & they see someone doesn't agree with them, the same way they use the race card, not saying this is the case with all of us, but still.

  • @blackien5 somebody needs to tell us what happened right? otherwise how we can know we didn't even live at that time, if we don't know our history then how we can project our future? or what the option should be?

  • @jcalahor True enough.

  • @blackien5 You're totally right about people being babyish and hypocritical for saying this movie, or the book (The Help) is racist. However...you just had to ruin your good comment with the last sentence you wrote. Why did you have to say "There's no pleasing blacks, is there"? Your comment was intelligent just up until that stupid, dumb, foolish, idiotic, imbescillic, moronic sentence you wrote. The stupidity you showed the world in that comment reflects how stupid YOU really are, RACIST PIG!

  • @bboymike3492 Grow up. I'm not racist, brat.

  • @blackien5 Actually some of the blacks are not satisfied because the only time 'racism' or to teach and reaching out to white people about racism or lesson is through a white person as if 'black' person who has been speaking out about racism and the inequality is invalid, irrelevant or disregarded by the majority(whites) until A WHITE PERSON tells or teaches them. That show how power white privilege is - whites won't hear or listen from blacks, but the minutes a white person tells a story...

  • @blackien5 no need to be racist about it, everyone is like that in the end. noone's ever pleased about anything.

  • @maiabdalla Who's being racist? no racism intended . I'm just saying.

  • @blackien5 Nope...And i love al Races but EVERYTHING white people say is "Racisit" now !

In X-Factor this year a woman was joking around and Said to a Black man.. "I can run Fast, Faster than you" and she got into Trouble for being Racist... I was like WTF... How is that racist.. !

  • @FillionDollarSmile Are you for real? That's ridiculous. It's not like she said something like whites are faster than blacks or something like that. I get exactly where you're coming from.

  • @blackien5 Yea... And she wasnt saying it to him BECAUSE he was black... He was just the person she happened to be talking to...!

  • @FillionDollarSmile I hear you. Even though I'm black, this is why I don't feel comfortable around some of them. Many of them get too easily & overly offended over the littlest things that aren't even that serious/meant to be that serious to begin with, meanwhile the irony there is they on the other hand are allowed to say whatever &/treat you however they please they please, then when you stand up to them, you're the devil. That's not just unfair, it's ridiculous.

  • @blackien5 STFU YOU BITCH ASS UNCLE TOM! whites DON'T show anything about black peoples history UNLESS its about slavery/racism, they DON'T make films about anything positive such as Ancient Kemet, Moors and the European Renaissance, the Black Wall street etc why do you think that is you fucking idiot!!!

As soon as they do a few mammy films aka "the Help" low key dissing blacks, you buck dancing coons suck it up!

  • @XDarkDestroyaX Go freak yourself, brat. You just don't like hearing what you don't wanna hear, so you resort to labeling. You're just a whiny little baby. & how is this dissing blacks?

  • @blackien5 READ MY MESSAGE UNCLE TOM, READ IT GOOD!

  • @XDarkDestroyaX What message? I haven't gotten 1.

  • @blackien5 I'll give you the message if you are black (which I doubt) but you dont need to see frequent history lessons from watered down Disney movies about how blacks were once enslaved or were "the help", yes it happened at one point in history but thats not all there is, being that Africans have a vast wealth of history dating back 20,000 years

What your dumbass needs to do is look at real black history watching a documentary called HIDDEN COLOURS google it, and stop defending THIS rubbish!

  • @KiddDynamite270 Boohoohoo, cry me a river. The only rubbish here is that from your big mouth. You sound like a baby whining over stupid stuff that happened yrs ago. I don't have to prove anything to you. As for the Africa thing, 1st off we were slaves of them before whites & they're still black slaves in Africa today, so if you wanna blame & get upset at someone, do that to yourselves.

  • @blackien5 LMAO I was just about to write a lengthy response THEN I looked at your profile and saw that your a MIXED BREED... now it all makes sense, therefore anything you write is invalid!

    Good bye

  • @KiddDynamite270 & therefore you're an ignorant baby. So anything you write is invalid!

  • @FillionDollarSmile its true, someone might be talking about another black kid and i say "which one? the black kid" and they yell "omg ur so racist"

  • @blackien5 No there isnt... Like i said before, I love Black people.. And it's not the Majority.. But it is some of them. Where-as if a Black person said to a white person "I can run faster than you".. A white person wouldnt even take a second thought about it. We would just say "Yea, your probably can !"

  • I love this movie. Had every emotion come to me watching this. 10/10 Pie anyone?

  • looks like a Tyler Perry kind of movie it's not tho

  • why does the girl look like Linsay Lohan?

  • At least the coloured people of America want to move forward for the sake of themselves and they're country. Now, how to motivate the Aboriginals of Australia... Don't get me wrong, I have seen an aboriginal working in a shop before, but the over whelming majority are just living off welfare and... I think we found the source of our problem.

  • Trailer made me cry, I cant wait to see this movie.

  • BOOOOOOORING!!!!

  • Skeeter... journalist... Harry Potter anyone?

  • you had me at Emma Stone

  • how did they manage to make emma stone unattractive

  • @miniyou161 Probably because she lost a little too much weight? At least it looks like she did...I liked her in Zombieland...but her natural hair color is blond, not sure about it being curly though.

  • Emma Stone never be in a wrong movie..

  • emma stone is hot!

  • Slavery was abolished in 1865. So how did you get slavery out this movie that was based int 1960's? I see discrimination and segregation but no shackles and chains.@doomhb1
