  • If you ask me, the one at the end sounded like someone moaning and was much scarier than the S from Hell!

  • Comment removed

  • I wonder if that was Bob Barker doing the voice over the "Screen Gems" presentation with the dancing sticks? Sounds a bit like him, I could be wrong.

  • Columbia Tristar Television was Taken from Dragon Tales 1999

  • Screen Gems jest do dziś

  • How did you do this this is so cool

  • I don't understand that crazy things of television. Why the new logos have B&W versions as people don't have more B&W television?! And Divisions make everything crazy, Screen Gems, Sony Pictures, Columbia Pictures, Tristar, who is owner of who?! And why?!?!?! lol, and there is the low-tone, high-tone, etc. And short, long, and standard versions, why these things?

    Someone reply me!!!! lol.

  • That Guy Pronouces Presentation pre-sentation

  • I saw the rocket one from Beakman's world.

  • I always wondered where the nice lady with the torch and Pegasus went lol

  • Well, I guess that's where Columbia/TriStar went. The logos at 6:40 are pretty hype.

  • 2:53 i saw that on fx in 2005.

  • 3:30 i saw that and on 5:36, that is from tv movies.

  • The Sony Pictures Television logo is cool but the logo on 6:40 Traumatized me like HECK!!!

  • 1987 was such a good year...

  • The Tristar 1987 one traumatized me, i always thought that poor Pegasus was being humped by that triangle...

  • Is it normal that i like the Screen Gems Torch Lady than the Columbia one?

  • Oddly enough

I find the Columbia TriStar Television Distribution logo on Maude on Antenna TV's St. Louis affiliate KTVI-DT

  • the HXPNetwork--

    "Beakman's World" ending logos.

  • @EricEbac22 Thank you lots.

  • What are the Columbia logos with the plane, 5:09, 5:25, 5:40 and 5:46 from?

  • @theHXPNetwork That's a rocket, have you never seen a rocket before?

  • Sony pictures and Fox Kids?

    I'm confused.

  • I've been creeped out by the 90's themes O_o It's the ones with the unicorn and the torch lady screen shots.

  • @VintageJany thats not a unicorn tats a pegasus

  • Does Squirtle in Cloumbia Pictures Television and Screen Gems in 1950

  • Does Columbia Torch Lady is Aardman Studios

  • Eh? What's Up Doc. Watching A Screen Gems with Dancing Sticks

  • That would be interesting to make a ringtone out of s from hell.

  • s from hell does not scare me =)

  • @angelpichu1 y the fuck is it called the S from Hell?

  • @TheRANDOMKid9 supposedly it's one of the most scariest logos next to viacom's V of doom. i kinda find the "s from hell" screen gems logo thing relxing in my opinion

  • @angelpichu1 Viacom's V of Doom zooms in at you.

  • @TheRANDOMKid9 Coined by a SG Fan it affectionatly was called "S From H---" because,as a child,he was traumatized by it..He thought the "Filmstrip S" would break its TV Bounderies and get him,so he started calling it this..The name stuck.....Unfortuneatly for Eric Sidel, who'd wrote it for SG and played it on a Moog!

  • s from h***L with byline

  • oh wait A MISTAKE YOU FORGOT TO PUT WHAT DATE EACH ONE IS

  • Is it OK for me to borrow this? I only want the audio part. I may use it to help make a logo ident for G&P Films, a company I made up dedicated to granny and pap. God bless.

  • The 1998 columbia tristar ones are so empowering, i feel like I've won a battle or something! I would always anticipate it and get chills when I was a kid.

  • 0;52 SCAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAry

  • The dislike was by the S from Hell

  • I Can Feel My Stomach Growling Because Of All The Columbia Tristar Domestic Television Logos.

  • GenerousQuatD82, stop wasting our with with your pointless and pathetic comments, you troll!!

  • I know I know that the torch lady been standing tall for more than 70 years but here's something else about her she doesn't have to go to the bathroom that's why she's stands so tall and we love her and we miss her very much. Ok so Sony Pictures is boring but time rolls on such as life, Columbia Pictures was my favorite logo it did scare me it made my heart jump everytime I see it and hear that music. Listen the torch lady is somewhere above the clouds but remember she came an entertain us:]

  • 3:23 I think the sped-up 1988 fanfare sounds neat.

  • WTF Columbia Pictures A UNIT OF THE COCA -COLA COMPANY Columbia pictures isn't a type of soda

  • @22malibuHCO It's sad, but Coca-Cola did own Columbia from 1982 to 1989. Yet they got a big profit from selling them to Sony.

  • @2000rubs The other jingle was cuter

  • I wish CPT ,TriStar TV,&CTT,CTTD,CTDT,CTIT and CTHV and CTHE should still be established.

  • WTF What does Coke the drink have to do with TV?

  • BTW You Forgot to Put In The 1999's "S From Heaven" Screen gems logo

  • 4:06 What The Heck?!

  • why there is some logos in black and white if there was color in this time?

  • @mariobrasil9 That's because some of the older B&W Screen Gems programs and Columbia films are redistributed all the time (mostly through cable channels & DVD). I just saw the Sony Pictures Telelvision International logo after seeing an episode of the Three Stooges on AMC!

  • @mariobrasil9 Because they are on new prints of old black and white shows

  • A barf-coloured S from Hell? That's the best idea l've ever heard.

  • Did Sony own Tristar?

  • @bloodshotclam yes

  • @josh32ify What the hell do you mean yes?

  • @josh32ify Why did you say yes?

  • I was never scared by the Columbia Pictures logos from 1982 to 1992. If anything, I thought they were pretty cool. I used to think that sunburst in the clouds was spraying water.

  • 3:03 Colombia Pictures, A unit of the coca-cola company?! LOL!

watch stuart little and stuart little 2? it has the MISSING! columbia tristar logo not in here

  • 4:35 *lol* :-D

  • the cloudy backrounds of the logos always reminded me of the movie 300, to this day I still have no idea why. x]

  • LOL 3:15 horse humping triangle

  • Did Sony Pictures Television came in Early 2002 or Late 2002?

  • What's the 1996 Columbia Tristar Television Logo's nickname?

  • @bloodshotclam People say it's the boxes of boredom

  • @prinoftherng The Boxes of What?

  • @bloodshotclam Boredom. b-o-r-e-d-o-m. Like Im bored

  • @prinoftherng You mean the Columbia Tristar Boxes are bored?

  • @bloodshotclam Idk. That's what they just call it. Dont ask me for info. Ask others who know or ask sony.

  • @prinoftherng Oh, and also at 5:50 to 6:14 the 1996 CTT Logo, and the CTDT logo is different. Maybe the inside of the boxes are in zoom in or something.

  • @bloodshotclam yeah they kinda are. In the domestic Tv box, the lady and the pegasus is zoomed up a little. otherwise,it's basically the same

  • @bloodshotclam I kno I dont like it with spt. It's stupid

  • Comment removed

  • @bloodshotclam 2010. By now sincce they own columbia they should go back to the torch lady days. I like the torch lady from the 30's. She looks like a little girl

  • Comment removed

  • @prinoftherng Yep, Is the Pegasus an human, and Torch Lady a animal?

  • @bloodshotclam r u srs? ha ha ha

  • @prinoftherng Yes, I'm serious. I'm asking is the Pegasus a human or a animal. And the Torch Lady has the same choices.

  • @bloodshotclam tristar is the pegasus on the right of the boxes of boredom and columbia is the torch lady on the left of the boxes of boredom

  • @prinoftherng Oh right, And the Boxes of Boredom logo once again can be shown on Total Drama Island, All in the Family, Dawson Creek, and Strong Medicine.

  • @bloodshotclam lol ok but total drama island not possible. But otherwise, lol

  • @prinoftherng Well did it appeared on All in the Family, Dawson Creek, and Strong Medicine instead? Because I know those 3 shows are not made by Sony either.

  • @bloodshotclam well they were not made by sony. They were made by columbia pictures TV. But in 1992,sony bought columbia so they own all rights to the shows they owned.

  • @prinoftherng Not even The Jeffersons, Punky Brewster, and King of Queens?

  • @bloodshotclam the king of queens may have been made by sony. Jeffersons were not made by sony. And IDK about punky brewster. Basically, everything before 1992 were not made by sony

  • Comment removed

  • @prinoftherng Did King of Queens made in 1997? And why did Punky Brewster, and The Jeffersons have the Sony Pictures Television logo? Because In CLG Wiki, it says the SPT logo was shown on those shows.

  • @bloodshotclam because like I said b4,when sony bought columbia, they bought every show owned by sony so they have the right to plaster the logo on.

  • Comment removed

  • @prinoftherng What is the Sony Pictures Television logos nickname? Is it the same nickname as the Columbia Tristar Television 1996 Logo?

  • @bloodshotclam what do you mean

  • @prinoftherng The SPT Boxes of Boredom logo that's what I mean.

  • @bloodshotclam the SPT logo doesnt have a nickname I believe

  • @prinoftherng Of course it does I think.

  • @bloodshotclam Well I dont know it

  • @prinoftherng Well me neither.

  • @bloodshotclam thats great. why are we having this discussion

  • @prinoftherng You're leaving me comments. That's why.

  • @bloodshotclam I getting tired of leaving ya comments. Let's stop the discussion by saying that sony should give half of columbia back to its owners ok?

  • Comment removed

  • @prinoftherng One more thing, I thought CBS made King of Queens.

  • @bloodshotclam i honestly have no clue of that. I guess CBS needed sony's help to distribute the show.

  • @prinoftherng Really? So Columbia Tristar Television Inc, and CBS Worldwide Inc did distribute King of Queens.

  • @prinoftherng Did I said Dawson's Creek was owned by Sony?

  • Comment removed

  • Too bad The Dancing Sticks is replaced with the S on Season 1 repeats of Bewitched

  • The CTT logos from 1996 & 2001 are from episodes of Total Drama Island, and The Jeffersons.

  • @bloodshotclam it was on total drama island? I dont remember being on there

  • Comment removed

  • @bloodshotclam I honestly never saw it. It must've been only in canada but I dont live in canada.

  • Comment removed

  • @bloodshotclam lol. Wish it was though but it was made in canada

  • Comment removed

  • @bloodshotclam I know It would of been a sony classic. But I wish sony bought part of columbia. They should've let the original people have half of the company then It would've been cool. Bcuz it would've been classic

  • Comment removed

  • @bloodshotclam that's weird then. Why would sony take no credit for it then? That's suspicious.

  • Comment removed

  • @bloodshotclam sony can sue them. It's no surprse then

  • Comment removed

  • @bloodshotclam they're too son them. If they recorded at their place, they have to take some credit for it.

  • Comment removed

  • @bloodshotclam um probably not. BTW just for curiosity, which torch lady do you think is the scariest? 80's or 90's. Personally I think the scariest is sony's torch lady

  • Comment removed

  • @bloodshotclam it just stares at you with those eyes and everytime the torch lady comes up I look away. I can look at the 80's one perfectly but the 90's one,a no-no

  • Comment removed

  • @bloodshotclam yes even is you pay me I won't look at that face. It's scary. Everyone on youtube is saying that they're scared of the 80's torch lady. But I must be the first person on youtube to differ on that.

  • Comment removed

  • @prinoftherng I do not think the 90's Torch Lady is scary to me.

  • @bloodshotclam well it is just a opinion from me. you think that the 80's torch lady is scary?

  • @prinoftherng I meant Dawsons Creek was owned by Warner Bros TV. My apollogies.

  • @bloodshotclam its ok. i mean does one little thing matter that much. But still its a tiny mistake

  • @prinoftherng And what is that?

  • @bloodshotclam and what is what? can you please reply in a way that i kinda understand

  • @prinoftherng I said Dawson's Creek was own by Warner Bros TV. Now do you understand?

  • @bloodshotclam uhhhhhhhhh yes i do. thank you for coverin that for me

  • @prinoftherng Thanks, but did I said Dawsons Creek own by Warner Bros TV, or Sony Pictures TV?

  • @prinoftherng Oh really? I thought it was made by Sony.

  • @bloodshotclam wait didnt you say that it was made by WB b4?

  • @prinoftherng I check the copyright portion at the end of the show, and it said Columbia Tristar Television Inc. (or Sony Pictures Television Inc.). So I think the show was made by Sony after all!

  • @bloodshotclam ok if you say its made by sony, then let it be made by sony

  • @prinoftherng Cool. Thank you.

  • I dont understand why you need to show the same one more than once. just show the best quality you have not every one you have. Also showing the latest one would be a good touch. otherwise a good video

  • The Columbia Tristar Television logos from 1996 were shown on Total Drama Island before they use the Sony Pictures Television logo in 2002.

  • I liked this video and how it talks about the history of Sony Pictures television.

the history goes by order, SG TV Tube, SG Torch Lady I and II, SG Dancing Sticks, SG S from Hell, CPT Pretzel, CPT Sunburst, Coca Cola Telecommunications, TriStar Television, CPT 80s and 90s Torch Lady, CTT, CTTD, CTDT, SPT and SPTI, nice.

  • The Screen Gems Logo @ 1:30-1:35 came from a DVD

  • At 5:50 to 6:14 CTT Boxes of Boredom looks different.

  • Columbia Tristar Television 1996 Logo is called the Boxes of Boredom. Right?
