just so u guys know, for any sunblock to be effective, IT HAS TO to be above SPF15, perferrably SPF 30. actually if u use SPF15, u'll have to reapply it every 2 hrs or so. to calculate how long ur SPF lasts, use the time u get sunburn W/OUT sunscreen x spf (normally ppl usually get sunburn w/out sunscreen in ~ 10 mins), then use that # / duration u'll b in the sun. for example, i'm using spf 55. so 55x10mins=550mins. 550mins/60mins = 9.17 hrs. of course this number is just an approximation.

u guys can try Neutrogena Ultra Sheer Dry-Touch Sunblock, SPF-55. it offers the best protection while it wont make ur skin feel super oily like other sunblocks with high spfs. it's only < $10(usd). i also tried the same one but in spf 80. that one is a bit oily for summer. but its' understandable since it IS spf 80. another one i like is the spf 50 sunblock by SKII, which is of course A LOT pricier!

Hi BeautyQQ, I've learnt a lot about sunscreens in the past couple of months. Let me tell you, the EWG (environmental working group) tested over 1,606 sunscreens and have found only 3 out of 5 sunscreens does not meet the standards, so you don't actually get the protection you think you do! Or they contain toxic ingredients.

But i do know the two most effective ingredients in sunscreens that maybe you should look for are zinc oxide and titanium dioxide. I hope you learned something from me.
