can´t people be styling wigs however they want? i don´t personally care much about natural or "over" styled. i want it to look like the charakter. tis one looks like the charakter. but it whould be hard making a roxas wig natural looking without making it looks extremly funny if you ask me. but cosplay is for fun so who does really care :)

People who "spike their wigs to death" are huge supporters of accuracy and put ten times more work into their wigs than someone who goes for a more natural look. Show some respect.

@StrawberryPi3 i'm big on accuracy and i always try to make things perfect and accurate, but when it comes to cosplay wigs i'd probly rather have a more natural looking one if it's do-able. i don't mind over styled wigs, and it's great that people put the time and effort into making it accurate to the character, but i don't like it when they end up looking like wax or plastic...

This is a good tutorial for anyone learning how to spike. I usually just hear, "I use glue-based hairspray, or I use GOT2B" not often an actual tut on how to spike.

Though, I personally don't want this wig. It looks thin in the back, and I like my wigs thick and full..

@TheNoodleboy12 I've seen synthetics that look just as good. The material has nothing to do with how it looks. if it's heat resistant Kanekalon when synthetic, then it's gonna be a good wig. The problem is the styling. even real hair wigs can get messed up if the styling isn't good.

i had hair glue in my hair the day b4 and didnt wash it out b4 i went to sleep

but wen i did wash it out, it didnt wash out all the way... and the parts that stayed in spiked up and made me have sora's hair style lol it looked awesome so i kept it that way all day lol

@IAteYourWafflesOwO Its sold in the US. Go to your local asian market, preferably Japanese such as Mitsuwa and buy it from there.

@IndoMie18 Yeah, I noticed it was in Mitsuwa. It's a 20-ish minute drive there, though, and my friend's mom is the only one who knows how to get there. So I can't go very often. :/

I haven't found it in any of the Vietnamese stores we always go to, and I doubt the Korean store has it....

these are professional wig designers and wig stylists in Japan they make these wigs and sell them to cosplayers Cosmode magazine talks about these designers in their edtions. I love this wig very well done.

Glued wigs last a lot longer. If you're going for accuracy glue is the best one. I have to say that this is one of the best wigs I've seen, it's so simple but so cool. Realism and Accuracy are not the same things.

sorry for being a creeper and reading comments but for people who want a more detailed tutorial this same tutorial can be found in a cosplay magazine that is published in English called CosMode. They also have other wig tutorial i there.

but basically they took a med length shaggy wig worked a small amount of hair gel into the roots to give the scruffy look then comb out all the spikes and did a tad bit of back combing for support then sprayed into place. then blow dried.

i cant translate but I can tell ya what she did. She cut the wig so it was short in the back (about 2 and a half in) and longer on the front. I made mine assymetrical so it was longer on the right side. then you put a small amount of Creme pomade (Got2b is best) then you position the hair and the hairdryer on COOL will solidify the style. the using Got2b freeze spray you spray the tip and basethen use your COOL setting. then you gel the bangs......if you want more detail or a tutorial PM me!!!!!

It's pretty easy. She's just using pomade to spike it, and keeping it up with back-combing and hairspray.She didn't blow-dry every spike :0.

Most likely used a flat iron on the hair too.
