The game itself goes until all three rows have caravans between 22-26, which is called "sold," without there being ties. You win if the majority of sold caravans (2 or 3) are on your side. (Obviously your sold caravans have to be higher than your opponent's.)

look, all ya gotta do is have 10's, 9's, and 7's in your hand (cycle through all your cards to get the ones you want before the first three cards are laid out) then lay out 10's first on each pile then a 9 or a 7 in each to create 26=insta win

Then I end up not having enough cards because he'll magically have a jack to get rid of all my cards. Why this there have to be an achievement for this.. seriously..

They have made Caravan a helluva lot harder and put restrictions on it. I remember when this game first came out, I would make like 80,000 caps from playing caravan off a guy (who only had 1,000 caps to begin with) then I would wait 3 days for him ro refill.

I believe APPLEPIE978 is correct in which the opponent gets a chance to get 26, but in my case we had no ties what so ever and i had all 26's i believe it was just a fluke glitch. i had to discard my row and lost the game...... but i got my money back beating him again using the same method, and it worked. GREAT VIDEO SILOVIRO!!!

if that happens just keep discarding your cards and planting J's on his cards (recommend the highest card)...its really not that hard if u follow this vid.. got my achievment in half a hour....great video @SiloViro :)

@XxTarkenxX according to most achievement websites, hardcore is considered less than challenging (thanks to Very Easy mode). Finding snow globes and partners without using the internet is way harder than caravan IMO

It works pretty flawlessly if you count how many of each you have. For example have 3 nines and 3 eights or 3 tens and 3 eights. Play against ringo. He is the easiest

If you get 2 26's but still dont win or if there's a tie, try placing a king on one of the opponents highest stacks and make him go over 26.

@boxers41 If the computer matches you with 26 i dont think you have any choice but to discard the track they matched you on. Also for some reason after you select "discard track" you have to hit "select card" for it to actually do it. idk that's been working for me. You won't always win though and it is quite probable im doing something wrong. I just treat it like a hack attempt or lockpick and save before every match.
