  • Man I really hope Chopper has got his stuff sorted. Keep your head up dude!

Hoping and waiting to see the continuation of your blade making vids up soon!

  • is Fitzen still in the Nutnfancy project?

  • Fitzen's laugh makes me sweat in my sleep

  • well it is a Boo-ee in pronunciation considering Jim Bowie's name is pronounced Boo-ee

  • so thats how u meet oficer jared thats kwel, more baton and fighting vids from him hela

  • made in germany you know the germans always make good stuff

  • about how much does Fitzen charge for one of his knives?

  • where can we get one of those batons at? i couldnt really understand what he said because of the machines in the background.

  • @stealthassassin1990

I second that question; I would like to know where to get those German batons as well.

    Thanks!

  • hey thats oj! :)

  • Dude freakin sick.... I have somehow managed to miss this video... anytime you come up with a new vid nutn, I watch it and so I was surprised to see a knife vid turn into a baton vid lol love it. I saw this dude in the background and sure as sh*t.... it was ociffer jared lol very cool.... gonna have to really get one of these batons now. I hope I can get a LEO discount since I do security.... and as usual THANK YOU NUTN and FITZEN.

  • Is that Officer Jared

  • Why isn't Chopper working with Fitzen anymore.

  • @icychillgrill3 The economy took its toll on Fitz's business. :( -- Veri

  • @nutnfancy Man that stinks :(.

  • @nutnfancy thats sad, i hope he found another job

  • @nutnfancy This is why Fitzen should REALLY stock some non-custom high value knives! 1:00

  • @nutnfancy is he still in buisniess(Spelling) Then? Otherwise i will fucking cry :'(

  • @icychillgrill3 Fitzen said on the live show that choppers off being a Hells Angel

  • Super video! Danke NF dafür! ich liebe es, wenn du Johns Laden besuchst. Er is so was von cool!!!

  • i hope that fighter pilot has a youtube account, sees this video--n like officer jarred--joins the project! he imagine the pou vids n "fly-n-gun" vids :)

  • Nutn is pretty rude to Fitzen sometimes, I know he doesn't mean it like that, but still.

John laughing at Nutn's KaBar just made my day.

  • Verifancy

    =^.^=

  • @NecroKatanaScythe How ya doin? ;) -- Veri

  • @nutnfancy All good how bout you?

  • @NecroKatanaScythe Peachy! =) -- Veri

  • @nutnfancy =^.^= Nice

  • @nutnfancy Do you know how I can get a good start up as a knife maker/ sharpener?

  • @NecroKatanaScythe I would call Fitzen! That's just me, but I'll bet he has good advice for an aspiring knifemaker. -- Veri

  • @nutnfancy Sure thing

  • @NecroKatanaScythe

Good tip is that Amazon sells a benchsander for $120 by Rockwell. Alpha Knife Supply is a REALLY good place to get your steel. Heat treating is expensive if you don't have the right equipment. For HTs, I'd suggest sending out your blades for the treat to someone like Paul Bos.

  • I have not been on fitzens site in a while. But if nutnfancy or veri reads this. Could one of you tell him to have a modern style site, you know with the selection and the credit card ordering and the whole shabang. It just seems like a hassle to watch every damn video and call him and than get a price, than go to the bank, than call again.

  • Jared Wihongi on TNP?!

  • whats the coffin handle in the back ground?

  • whats choppers channel?

  • John actually owns a Navy-K608 knife and a Navy-K502,both are great copies of Cherusker Messer LCC and Cherusker Messer Anduranz Taschenmesser

it comes down to 440C vs 7CR17MOV (7CR17MOV is actually a Chinese version of 440C) so anybody who wants a Cherusker Messer model,Spyderco Endura or Native or a Almar SERE 2000 look into Navy Knives (available at Exduct(.)com check em out,I hope this helps guys!

  • I like the addition of the ninja hat

  • Holy CRAP its Officer Jarred!

  • rockin the cold steel beanie, I see.

  • So this is the day Nutn met Officers Jared!

  • That A2 steel is some good stuff.

  • So, I've recently been watching some old videos... and who do I see in this one??? Its freaking OfficerJared!!! Awesome!

  • Comment removed

  • Love the fitzen&chopper dynamics""super cool tactical works of art""A MUST SEE PEOPLE!

  • why do they put jimping(sp?) on the blade or do you mean serations?

  • @orangeracer223 He means serrations.

  • Fitzen can expect a call from me later today. I may go with the finger groove knife. I checked his site figuring it would be like any other online store but it's not. It's kinda stuck in 95 an that made me sad

  • Mate, a fantastic video!

I love how well you work and think on your feet!

As always... Many thanks for sharing.

    Regards

    Tony

  • What was that knife at the end of the video, it was from Germany.

  • I dig the stuby warthog

  • jarod was on deadliest warrior one episode

  • tactikilt. absofuckinlutely love it.

  • @bobjoemagee Innit great!?? -- Veri (Nutn's sister)

  • @bobjoemagee "absofuckinlutely" hahaha

  • To quote the shamwow guy about those batons "Made in Germany, you know the germans always make good stuff."

  • That KA-BAR bowie, ill be the first to tell you that that is one hell of a knife for $41 too, unbelievable

  • uknow, the skull is not neccecerily a symbol of death.

it might surprise you to know that in some contexts it is actually a symbol of life.

it can also be a symbol for things hidden, IE: that which is below the surface (as in skin deep, under your skin etc.)

it is also a symbol of time, ore more specifically the way in which time effects all things. Chronos devours all.

to the alchemists of old the skull was always a symbol of enlightenment.

  • @Whisper6911 and then there is the jolly roger of pirate fame.

to pirates the skull was, aside from warning and intimidation, also the main feature of the pirate flag, which is essentially a declaration of sovereignty.

  • oh god fitz why did u have to adopt your new logo from such a horrible movie???

  • It's funny to see my dogs reaction when you say Chopper because that's his name too :)

  • @CHUDscarecrow Aw!! Great doggie name! -- Veri

  • @CHUDscarecrow like that dog in that one movie

  • @zimbabwecornchip yep Stand By Me :)

  • @CHUDscarecrow hahahahahaha sick balls

  • is it just me, or does it sound like fitzen is making the worlds most awesome pimp cane ever

  • LMAO...wow. Jared's all over the place these days...I just saw him in DBMA's Die Less Often tape too...Next time I see him at a seminar I should probably get his autograph, lol. He's a great guy, too, probably one of a handful of police officers I have met that have made a positive impression on me.

  • Love the cold steel snow cap nutn lol!

  • Hey Nutnfancy That SWAT Officer was on the show called "Deadliest Warrior" on Spike TV...ohhh i see some else noticed that too lol

  • @jayk111 i knew he looked familiar. was he one of the hosts or did he come on as on of the experts in a fighting style

  • @airjordon91 He was in Shaolin Monk vs Maori Warrior..he was the Maori warrior. -- Veri (Nutn's sister)

  • @nutnfancy Wow was just watching that episode (2min ago) and the more he spoke the more I knew I had heard his voice before. Sure enough the next thought in my head was "NUTNFANCY's VIDEO!!!!" glad I am not the only one.

  • @nutnfancy i love that show but dont watch much tv (other than nutn and topgear) so missed that, will have to find it now. that jared guy is a legend, hope to see more of him in the future, greetings from UK

  • chopper at 10:26 is awesome

  • Hey get Fitzen to machine a skull for the end of those bad boy batons, go Fitzen go!!! Great stuff

  • The cop was on deadliest warrior

  • @jayk111

I noticed that as well. After I watched the episode, I returned to this video to make sure it was him. Very cool.

  • Yep, those ASP batons are great (so I've heard from sources I trust) but to use them optimally, it does take a little bit of modified manipulation. If you open it up too hard it's very hard to collapse again, and it may take you a few tries. Those tries will keep you occupied and your awareness to additional threats will decrease, so you have to practice a method of opening it up with the right amount of force.

Okay, so it's not "necessary" but it's a little better that way I'd say. Still good.

  • everytime I hear the beginning music I think of partyboy from Jackass....tooo funny. Keep up the good work guys, your blades rock......cant wait to a ghurka very soon

  • I know you probably had this comment already, but is there a website for the camlock baton now?

Thx again for all the support an let's remember to support our troops and their families. Help us to help them through the "honor them foundation". Thx. Peace.

  • LOVE that Honor Them Foundation, outstanding work they do. I cried when they were talking about the woman they helped get to Arlington to see her son buried..just bawled. Thanks for the heads up about the phone numbers..annotated below. You know you have a lot of cool guys that love you to death over here. -- Veri

  • Hey Nutn, how could I get in touch with John Fitzen to have a knife made? I can't find any contact info on the website

  • brand - he's got a youtube channel as well. Look up "fitzenknives" and that should get you to it. Also, they have a phone number in SLC where he takes orders: (801) 990-5183 - Veri (Nutn's sister)

  • Sorry, that phone number for John should be 801-918-3725 and chopper's 801-556-6424 (pixture text capable for knife ideas) -- Veri

  • what is choppers channel name

  • chopper81supporter -- Veri (Nutn's sister)

  • I just saw Jared on Deadliest Warrior: Maori vs Shaolin Monk on Spike! Dumb show but it was cool seeing him smash a bunch of stuff.

  • John, thanks for the heads up about this. If anyone is looking for it to view, its Season 1 Episode 7 -- Veri (Nutn's sister)

  • i totally agree with john with the fact that stainless steel is harder to sharpen but to me the corrosion resistance of stainless is worth it to me

  • today i feel like chopper felt in this video

  • Aww! -- Veri (Nutn's sister)

  • dose any1 know fitzen page i cant find it

  • He's got a web site, but frankly, its brand new, I just looked it over and there is very little there yet. Run a youtube search for "fitzenknives" and he's got a youtube channel too. • I want a Fitzen Baton! =)

  • The German knife was actually a

    Cherusker - Schanz Anduranz.

The Company that sells it, is Chersuker Messer from Germany. It was designed together with the famous German Knife Maker Jürgen Schanz.

The name "Cherusker" comes form an ancient German tribe and the Symbol shows Herman the Cherusker who fought against the romans in the Battle of the Teutoburg Forrest.

A have this knife since a year now and it's a really nice (and cheap) alternative to the Spyderco Military.

    Greetings from Austria

  • Do you know any websites that sell company's knives, specifically ones who sell to the US.

    Danke

  • DaKern - great history lesson, thanks!!! And greetings right back to Austria from the States -- Veri (Nutn's sister)

  • Chopper needs to trade a custom knife for a computer.

  • What website did the New Zealander say you can find the baton on?

  • ive already subscribed but the end of that makes me wanna subscribe again lol

  • ok get jared? on youtube, that guy rules (im a uk dude so im a bit closer to the germans) love german engineering, thats some fanatical stuff right there.

  • Nutn's working on that. If we're lucky, we'll get to see more of OfficerJared. -- Veri (Nutn's sister)

  • thank you for the reply, look forward to it :D.

  • Thank you so much for showing us the Camlock! I'm going to consider that as a Christmas gift for my LEO brother.

  • great product, but i dont like the tip i like the peacemaker tips helps when trying to breakwindows or bones what ever the situation calls for but the power when swinging a camlock helps make up for that but it dose have a high price of like 250, so apples to apples it all depends of your bros style if he will like it

  • fitzen should have better security, someone could come in and steal all the stuff he has at the front of the store and no one would know who it was.

  • im thinking Fitzen's shop would be the last one I would attempt to burglarize or rob.

  • Fitzenknives and chopper81supporter

  • Were is thier channel?

    Were is chopper's??

  • I think it is fitzen knives

  • How much does the warthog cost

  • 23:50 "John says "Why? I wanna hit people with it! AAhahahah aahahahha!"

lol thats what i would have said!

  • lets see some survival vids Nut

  • Love your beanie that words "Knife Maker"

  • I'm not much for knives. Even less for custom knives. I think you're right nutnfancy, he needs some more factory stuff to attract people.

  • love the random gumball machine behind them when they are talking about the baton

  • chopper looks like a older vanilla ice but choppers awesome and i love all the nutnfancy vids.

  • awesome vid...

  • hey i just got back from the mall, looking for a date

  • i need a link 2 choppers page 2 & fitzen

  • choppers tanto is awesome

  • Pain alone has absolutely no effect on some people, especially if they are experienced fighters, on drugs, or "berserk". A truly effective baton should be able to break bones, which, aside from cutting through muscles/tendons, is the only other truly reliable way of incapacitating an attacker non-lethally. Although, I suppose a police officer could get in trouble for fighting this way.

  • A baton to the head will take someone down, pain or not.

  • You could easily kill someone like that too.

  • a baton to the head isnt really a less lethal option.

  • I think the Busse Fusion Battle Mistress is the best chopping knife of all time. But then again I haven't used any of Fitzen's knives.

  • What's the name of Chopper's channel please?

  • drinkin too much booze is like a fatchick eating too much cake.

  • Dude that makes no sense at all.

  • grow an afghan style beard bro!!!!

  • ok... this is cool

  • This is so kinda staged, lol

  • Great vid Nutn! Gettin' out there and gettin' it done, that's what we like to see.

So many great knives, shout out to Fitzen!!!

  • what is fitzen/choppers youtube page?

  • Search for Fitzanknives on YouTube.

  • i respect them for making a quality baton but there is no baton worth $170 dollars. I will carry CZ .40 before i spend that kind of money on a baton.

  • Hmm I dunno what to think bout... A baton or a nunchucks???

    A baton: Up to $170+

    A nunchuck: like $5-$??

    Stopping a criminal: PRICELESS!!!

  • try $15+ for something that'll work, and then the time invested to learn how to not knock yourself around with them, the lack of easy concealability, and a general lack of stealth with the things, and then a baton makes more sense... Not to mention this is a police grade baton... slightly overkill for typical civilian use....

Oh my god I feel the heat from the flames my last sentence produced coming on already...

  • Ivcsslacker:

I didn't mean to "flame" over the two, I just wanted to know which one will be better for me as a CIVILIAN type...

  • although the best batons out there are 'police grade' as you put it. ASP is by far one of the best... then there is the type shown in this vid. There are other brands that make pretty much the same thing. I dont see any reason why a Civi who wanted one should be steered away because it's effective and suits the purpose of concealment/ease of use.

  • By civilian you mean non-military right because police are civilians as they are not in the military.

  • Good point.

  • Great vid.

    5*

  • ya what is choppers channel??

  • cant wait for part 2! weapon check awesomeness!
