@nonSteel I honestly hate how there are so many denominations. When I go to different churches, I don't care about the denominations, as long as they are Bible-based and don't teach anything strange or heretic, I'm good. A good example of this Lakewood. Gotta love that church.

ok. Don't know how the subject came up but here is my opinion.I believe that Jesus Christ died on the cross for our sins. My son is gay. (yes gay) He belives in God also. He has fought it his whole life. You should read more about it. Because someone can't help it, so many teenagers kill themselves because they are not accepted. They wish they were not.

The fact that the music is enjoyable to the ears is simply a side-effect of good musical talent. I'm not at all saying that you should stop listening to Christian music, rather to just think about what the lyrics are saying, and try to accept them as the truth. God listens and will answer the questions you have about your life, all you have to do is listen carefully.

@starshineboo99 I agree that we must embrace each other and show God's love. However, based on the teachings, God has told us that homosexuality is a sin. Please read Romans 1:24-27, I Timothy 1:10 and Jude 7.

@starshineboo99 In Romans 1:21-32 homosexuality (men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another; men with men working that which is unseemly) is called a vile affection, it is against nature, as well as unseemly and considered to be an error (or a delusion). They chose not to worship the Creator, so God gave them up to a reprobate (unapproved) mind, to do those things that are not convenient (becoming or fit in God's eyes). It looks like a sin to me.

@magarals On the contrary, it is ALL about the lyrics. Christian music is really all about worshiping God through the music. The fact that the music is enjoyable to the ears is simply a side-effect of good musical talent. I'm not at all saying that you should stop listening to Christian music, rather to just think about what the lyrics are saying, and try to accept them as the truth. God listens and will answer the questions you have about your life, all you have to do is listen carefully.

I'm an atheist and I still listen to Christian bands. To me, it doesn't really matter if they're singing about God or whatever. I can interpret the lyrics any way I want to, and besides, I'm all about the music, not the lyrics itself.

besides, the big bang theory is NOT linked to abiogenesis. wich is the slow process of simple ogranisms coming from the reactions between 2 amino acids that will eventually lead to the beginning of simple mechanics, therefor allowing the possibility for cells to form, generate, split, over the process of MANY years forming itself into a being that will react with another slow developing being and so forth. yet that's a stretch compared to an entity that randomly appeared and poof?
