One problem... this makes charging less energy efficient.

@shaurz True, but:

1: It will get more efficient, possibly become just as efficient as our wires, if not more.

2: With more and more energy being harvested from wind and solar sources, it won;t be as big a deal as if it was all from coal/oil...

@stalker7d7 I should also mention, I await the day when we don't have to, no(we already don't have to), just plain don't use oil pumped from the ground

Very interesting. I think if it's successful, it will then lessen the wear and tear of the port so that waterproof phones are retain their waterproofness for a longer time. ^^
