@tech0StickyAsGlue The Wildfire doesn't have a dedicated GPU like the Hero. That's the deffrence. CPUs are not very good at calculating graphics.

@tzintafacejocu no the processor for the both phones is the same speed of 528mhz, the wildfire just doesnt have a gpu which is the 3d acceleration chip on the system to support decent gaming, also another factor is that the htc hero has higher resolution screen of 320x480 but the wildfire got a lower one which is 240x320, this also restricts the gaming quality on the phone. hope it answered your question :)

i have the htc hero and my dad told me that maybe he's gonna get me the EVO 4G when it comes out. but i think that the htc hero is like the EVO 4G besides the fact that the EVO 4G can do better things than the hero. EVO 4G FTW!!!

Those Graphic really are nothing special. There behind every 3D accelerated phone of the last 4 years starting with the N95. HTC & google have gambled (and correctly imo) that 3D chips are not important. People would rather money be spent on fast and responsive touch performance.

Htcs are good and cheap, but avoid if you want to play 3D games imo.

@tech0StickyAsGlue Not really, I am going to get the Desire this week so I have been studying the specs. The entire HTC range is slower than a N95 at 3d rendering, and almost incapable compared to the Iphone 3Gs. Its not relevant though really, fast based 3D games are hardly what a mini tablet PC is about.
