and lol chances are they just gave the tramer mask to whoever played the role, back then kirk masks were like $1.99 each so they didnt care as much as they did for the m.m. hero mask
the mask in H II had a bit more of a silver tint to it and the hair brushed back. The masked from H1 was pale white. There is a replica mask of HII on sale on ebay for almost $500.00
@joejiq65 ..? He kept it in that container? Its not like its a crown from an 11th century king, just a mask. He took fine care of it and i think he sold it around 2002, 2003 correct me if i'm wrong.
If this is the original movie wardrobe and mask . They should be in some sort of aired contained glass container to avoid further deterioration ..Who is the man in this video showing it off.. If this is real then it is movie history and should be taken better care of.....
@joejiq65 the guy in the video is Dick Warlock. He was behind the mask in HALLOWEEN II. He was also one of the assassins in H3. I read he recently sold the mask , the scapel, and the knife form part II
I agree it,s hard to believe it,s the same mask but it is and the wearer of the mask really does change the look totally. What is the rarer mask? Was it a double? Also where is the tramer mask?
K i'm back. I just got the word from horror domain (who personally knew someone on the set of halloween) that the two masks are different. Eye shapes don't deterierate over time and get smaller on latex lol.. If anything they would get bigger, and dick warlock doesnt have a huge head that would make them look like that. If u want more info on the subject go to a man who knows the sheeitt
@0mrinsertname0 You're right. There were 2 masks used in John Carpenter's HALLOWEEN, both were modified Captain Kirk masks turned into what is now called the Michael Myers mask. In fact, on the DVD version of JCH there are still photos of 2 men each wearing a Myers mask.
@burmiester1 the 81 was a different mask. The eyeshapes were smaller. Hair was different. Why would they go to all that trouble when they coulda just bought a new kirk mask? (which they did) they rnt the same mask
@0mrinsertname0 The mask used in the original HalloweeN as well as the sequel HalloweeN II were the exact same mask - this is a proven fact. It has the same hair and same eye cuts but being a thinner mask the wideness of Dick's face changed the shape of the eye cuts. The hair is the same. Some of the black over spray they used on it in 78 had worn off and more of the original blonde shown through in 81. It was also more matted and less poofy due to the way it was stored between the two films.
The h2 mask was actually the 1978 original. It only looked different because it had decayed and fit mr. Warlock differently. So sad to see that it is falling apart. Mr. Warlock sold the mask, knife, scalpel, and coverall jumpsuit that he wore back in 81 to some guy in Ohio that owned a haunted house. Hopefully he takes care of it...
I love the original scalpel and props. And im pretty sure they had a mask (the one in this vid with the mouth open) to test things on like how the blood tears would look, the sewing needle tear, etc..
The tramer was burned
