@bluesboyguitar Jack White's guitar is a 1965 Airline JB Hutto Montgomery, which is made from fibreglass. The guitar is named after the slide blues player J.B. Hutto. Nowadays, a Canadian company called Eastwood owns the rights to the Airline name. Hence, they are made out of wood instead.
@bluesboyguitar This model was originally made of wood. The original Airline Plastic moulded Guitars look nice hanging on a wall, But the Eastwood models will blow them away with their tone. These guitars are a lot of fun to play. reccomended.

@Podevarius so? I would rather have a guitar that sounds unique than one that looks unique, although both would be great. GOD i wish i had an original one of these!!!
um, is Eastwood independently owned, or does fender own?

Jack White said his Airline was made out of plastic. Why aren't your ones made out of plastic? :)

Wheels were first made of wood. Years later they came up with a better idea.

Great sounding geetar, but . . . .anyone noticed how restrictive the strumming would be given where the volume controls are placed?

so are the vintage voiced single coils single coils in a hb case or is it like a fat single coil that fits in a hb case like a p90??

I´m curious about the same thing as alohastewie...

The VVSC pickups are an overwound Single Coil mounted under a humbucker cover. Yes, the tone is more like a P-90 than a Strat Single Coil.
