I met these guys in the early 80s and yes the singer was hot but swung the other way. The other bit of trivia is that a certain studio muso called Tommy ghosted all the guitar parts.

I've got the original album this song came off called "Point Blank". It also had their main other hit "Big Girls" - great song but isn't on youtube anywhere. One of the things that struck me about this song and the whole album was how well it was produced. The sound quality and arrangements were first class.

I used to see her and the band at my local club regularly back in the '80's. Great band and she was a great entertainer. When u see her next can you ask her to re-release their album Point Blank on CD - my vinyl copy is wearing out - lol :-)

You know...this song has special meaning to me. I have not heard it for years and had never seen the video until now!!! (thanx for posting) In 1985 I was in year 8, at the time I fell for someone who I could really never be with and thought they were actually "Missing Me" lol I bought this song and played it to death man!! i reckon I was in love!! ,,its such adolescent shit!! but it was 1985 and I was only 13yrs.
