Holy Christ it not even a Polka. In The Name of God what it is that. Polka ?!? Man they changed the coolest dance ever in this world. Polka it is a dance that you don't need to do contact. It is challenge against people. And the meaning it is to make the most incredible Polka. And be on the music step. Nothing of what I saw it is a Polka. The last man to have put in a video clip the true Polka it is Micheal Jackson in " Black and White " song.

This by no means would be considered a waltz. It is 4/4 time, not 3/4 time.

To set the record straight: this is not "the beer barrel polka" style of polka, this is a "galop" polka by Strauss, which was a style of fast polka dance popular in Bohemia in the 19th century. The polka we're familiar with, and teach at ballroom dance schools, also comes from this era of music.

The dance style we're employing is "eclectic" or you could say "goofy". Though I like the term "suped up waltz".

I agree with phahn17 I took ballroom dancing for 9 years and in those years have taught it. all they are doing is a suped up waltz
