Ron Paul wants to end all social programs in the united states. Personally I am having trouble paying for college and the only way I am paying for it is with student loans. Ron Paul becomes president then the program getting me through school is cut because its not in the constitution.
If you have more money you can pay for college. If your money is worth something you can pay for college. If you listen to him, the colleges could give loans to their students. He's not against loans, he's against government loans that people don't pay back. Private loans are ok.
If I go to the bank to get student loans I would owe almost triple of what I do now because of interest.

In order to understand why, you have to look at the time he grew up in. During the '60's, there was a lot of racism going on. Segregation had been around into the mid sixties!
He was being honest, but you have to see how people were back then.
We are growing up with in a more diverse world, but unfortunately, you still have people who won't vote for Obama because he's black. Just ask West Virginia, their ignorance was based on COLOR and COLOR only!

It's pleasing to talk about ending the war and bringing our men home. But what happens if we do that? They don't talk about that, do they? They just want your vote, and they don't want you to think about any bad consequences. If we pull out of Iraq, we'll be leaving behind a fledgling and still rather unstable government. At that point, any power, be it terrorist or some other country, will be free to settle in. Then, in a few years, we get attacked again, and we'll just end up going back there.

Well, if we pull back, we COULD defend the country itself, but we don't know where and how an attack would come. At least our being in Iraq keeps insurgents too busy to worry about planning another major attack.

Look, I was born in an Islamic country, so I know for a fact that the only reason why there are more terrorists in Iraq at the moment fighting against the American army is because they don't want a foreign army or non-muslim army to exist in an Islamic country.
Obama was the only one who said that the reason why the American army needs to come back home is because the Iraqi people failed to come together and talk things out for the sake of the country.

You're pretty blind to the reality of what will restore our nation to strength. It has to do with a few economic lessons. First we need to strengthen our nation from within by bringing back industry (jobs) to our own country. Second we need a "Balance of Trade" like our founding fathers espoused and that includes the restoration of balanced Tariffs. It's time that we started to protect the American people as opposed to selling our nation down the river. Our economy is going down the drain.

Your economy is already down the drain, so to speak. To restore it, you can't focus inward like your founding fathers - it may have worked last century but it won't apply now. It's a completely different world out there. You need to focus on the new global market and renewing international faith in your fiscal and trade policies. Tarrifs and protectionist behaviour will only work to further alienate the trade partners that you desperately need to recover from the recession that is about to hit.

Actually hes been in the senate since January of 2005 when he was sworn in, making it a solid 3 years, not to mention he was in the Illinois state senate before that making his total legislative experience 15 years.

and yeah its true obama didnt get the chance to vote against the war but at the time the war vote was being made he was in a 7 way primary in Illinois at a time when Bush's approval rating was at 70% and he said he was against it. Hillary is on record saying she didnt even read the NIE report and as you can see in the video I made she said on Meet The Press she supported Bush.

Youre right there he did vote to finance the war. But had he not voted to finance the war and lets say the funding was indeed cut, we wouldnt pull out of Iraq immediately. Our troops would just go without the necessary equipment and be killed. Then people like you would be making comments about how barack doesnt support the troops.

Ron Paul wants to end all social programs in the united states. Personally I am having trouble paying for college and the only way I am paying for it is with student loans. Ron Paul becomes president then the program getting me through school is cut because its not in the constitution.

If you have more money you can pay for college. If your money is worth something you can pay for college. If you listen to him, the colleges could give loans to their students. He's not against loans, he's against government loans that people don't pay back. Private loans are ok.

If I go to the bank to get student loans I would owe almost triple of what I do now because of interest.
As for colleges giving loans to their students. He may think its a good idea but it isnt going to happen simply by him saying its a good idea. And obviously he wouldnt create any laws or programs because its against the constitition.
