I don't think it's any exaggeration to say that most game developers on Newgrounds could have done better than this. It's probably the most disappointing game I've ever played.

Moves and physics in this remake are just unnatural. The old PC game is better and harder, I think. By the way, thanks for the potion in Level 3. It works on PC (and some others too, but I knew how to get them), but is damn hard to get out the room after drinking the potion.

@bobo225884 Couldn't disagree more. It SHOULD be the easiest since it has barely any gameplay to it, but the controls are so ridiculously unresponsive that it takes forever to get through. I've already given up after about forty minutes of having to replay the third stage. How can you fuck up the jumping and running in a game all about jumping and running? It's unreal.

Well, the DOS version has better running animations because it was filmed and painted over a real running man. This is a 3D game so the character is animated using keyframes.

In the game is damn easy - just wait the goon to strike you(when you are in defense position) and then attack him. I say it again - this game is really a classic.

what helps me on fighting is i use up on the right stick for a block while still having my finger still near the attack button

I personally think the fights are easier in this version than in the original on the PC... It seems smoother and easier to predict when the enemy is going to attack so counter attacking is much more effective.

Here's my question...how the hell did you get so dominant at fighting in the game?!? I made it through the game, but I still get killed once in a while, almost always because of the fights...

its quite close to the original DOS version of POP, some small changes are made. especially in lvl 5, cause in the DOS version i think it's not possible to get the expander potion, shadow always grabs it

hey one question, do i have to finish each lvl when i get the potions, or can i just drink the potion and "start and exit" and go to the next lvl and do the same?

i'm pretty sure u have to drink the potion and complete the level.
