  • Poor poor man...he wanted to help her

  • I wait on tables, why couldn't she! I don't like it, but ya got to do what ya got to do.

  • This movie, along with many others, make me never want to help anyone. I can't believe society let this happen, oh wait, yes I can. It's a horrible world out there.

  • Her friend Tom was trying to help her. If she wasn't such a bitch maybe she could have got away!

  • I lost all respect for her when she killed that man who wanted to help her.

  • 1:43 wow the sketches look alike.who painted them ?Picaso?

  • Keep in mind that this movie is very "loosely" based on a real story. In fact, much of it is complete fabrication.

  • Scott Wilson, here playing Wuornos' last victim, himself played a notorious real-life murderer--Dick Hickock in the 1968 movie "In Cold Blood".

  • i hate how it was shelby fucking fault that she ever even got caught. smh.

  • I think the director did a great job serving this up for us viewers to decide whether we feel compassion or disdain for Aileen.I don't excuse murder, especially after several of the real victims were just like the last here in the movie-just trying to help.Yet if anyone had the perfect mixture of abuse/tragedy to create a killing mind =AIleen. The abuse she suffered, all by the people who were supposed to protect her. Then she finds 1 person who loves her, she'd do anything to keep her-and she did!

  • I actually feel sorry for Aileen. She had to retreat to such a dark and cold place in her mind that she couldn't trust any man, even the peaceful guy who seemed to want to help her out. Some people are born monsters but others are turned into monsters by the dark world we make and live in.

  • @DarkJoker99 you have it all wrong. aileen was never EVER a monster. you should take a look at what fablyss said here. cause your point of view is all the way wrong.

  • Comment removed

  • @royaltybabes Aileen WAS a monster. She killed people. Some deserved it and some didn't but it comes down to the fact that she took lives when she shouldn't have. There is a reason why I said some people were born monsters and some become ones. Aileen became one. I'm sure if she had a normal life she'd be a wonderful woman with a happy family of her own. Don't tell me my point of view is wrong. It's my opinion, don't tell me it's wrong because it's not the same as your own.

  • ... At first I was on her side... But after she killed that guy... YEAH SHE DESERVED TO DIE.... I won't change my mind.

  • @LemingTV it's like lying..will stack up and get more complicated at the end.

  • @LemingTV I think by the time she got to this guy, she felt she had no way out. She had gone too far and had to keep going. Even though he was nice and promising not to say anything, she couldn't be sure he wouldn't report her to the cops anyway. She wasn't right, but I understand her perspective. It is gut wrenching for me on both sides, cause you can see how unhinged and desperate she was becoming.

  • God Charlize Theron is an amazing actress, i have no idea how she portrayed Aileen so well. She won a well deserved Oscar.

  • SAD

  • @BigJZ86 Spiderman movie Quote lol

  • No one starts as the villain.

  • @MurDawgable "You either die a hero, or you live long enough to see yourself become the villain."

  • i feel so bad for that man... fuck aileen.

  • @3:00-4:20 is possibly the best acting i have seen in my entire life!

  • "You have the right to remain silent"

    "No shit man"

  • i felt my heart break when i heard that gun shot :(

    poor sweet old man

  • This is the old man from shiloh!! lol

  • hey, what was shelby's last name? i forgot :L -.- x

  • @ilovezachbabes ahh thank you =] x

  • Whoa so this bitch is sick,1 MAN TIRES TO RAP HER,And she starts going A-Shit on everyone else,Last man was helping her and she blows his head off,THIS BITCH DESERVED TO DIE

  • @FabalociousD25 mentally ill or not,a human being rational enough to plot out such crimes and go to great lengths to get away with horrible acts of violence,is rational enough to know the difference between good and evil. These people may be sick, yes, most of them are,but they are also evil.

  • @bradleypark1 I don't think she "plotted" them out... she just saw it as the way to survive. Not an excuse, but that's how far she'd sunk. She became that cynical and paranoid about men and their intentions, and what she had to do to survive. I do believe she was mentally ill.

  • @Rosannasfriend Oh there is no doubt that she was mentally ill,my point though, was that even mentally ill people know when they are doing something evil,it's not as if they have no choice in what they do,therefore I say mentally ill or not,she was evil...this movie portrays her too much as an anti-hero in my opinion.

  • @bradleypark1 I think she couldn't see straight at this point. The old man was claiming he won't report her, but in reality there is no way to believe he wouldn't go to the cops. She had gone too far and couldn't trust him to be quiet. She felt she had to keep killing to get rid of all the evidence and witnesses, even it is clear from her reaction when she shoots him that she HATES that she has to kill him. I still feel for both her and the old man.

  • For this last kill she did deserve to die.

  • "Oh God, I'm sorry." She was not a monster, she was just a women that got sick and mad because of society and because of her past. Funny how her first murder was, if I can say, deserved, and how her last one one very very unfair. Not that any death is fair, but you know. I felt like she didn't want to kill that man, she says it herself, she tells him she's sorry. She got so used to man hurting her& for once, she found a peaceful man, but she had to kill him. That's why this scene is so powerful.

  • @fablyss you also need to realize that" Oh, God, I'm sorry was written into the movie to envoke emotion. It is Powerful. But no one was there, and no one knows what she really said.

  • @fablyss So she had the right to kill him? Is that what your saying?

  • @fablyss Bottomline here she was a monster.

  • @fablyss exactly

  • @fablyss what a bunch of bullshit half-assed moralizing. Murder is murder. Don't you think the guy deserved to live considering he was trying to help this drifter and get killed for his good intentions? Somehow the fact that she felt some remorse nullifies this? Hmm...

This woman got what she deserved which was to fry

  • @mmalik3011 No, it doesn't nullifie it. But it does seperate her from most killers out there.

  • @mmalik3011 I am gonna Mirror some stuff you said: "Murder is murder" - so you are aware this is wrong. But then you say "This woman got what she deserved which was to fry" lolz

  • @mmalik3011 The death penalty is a premeditated murder at its most refined. Don't use the 'Murder is murder' card without knowing your shit. Essentially, the death penalty kills people who kill people because killing people is wrong. Its stupid. And inneffective. It just makes people dead.

  • @spitzer72

Are u mad??? she was not mentally ill!!!!!!! her circu, stances were different, I also had a shitty life but I did not go and kill someone she did it coz she wanted to live her life that way!

  • Comment removed

  • I wonder how people would feel about her if she were a man.

  • @goph000 a man who got raped and beaten by a woman

  • eh, I don't feel sorry for guys like that.....he had a wife and daughter who was gonna have a baby. Guys like that make me sick.

Glad she shot his disgusting ass.

  • @buckinray18 he didnt want anything from her! He was just trying to help.

  • what the fuck! he was OFFERING TO GIVE HER THE FRIGGING CAR. WHAT ELSE DO YOU WANT.

  • Killing someone who wanted to help. Pathetic.

  • Comment removed

  • @starquant Gimme a 'break.'

  • @027220 I replied to your comment in error. I have removed it.

  • @starquant Thanks.

  • @027220 Just so you know this is a movie BASED on true life. It's mostly a work of fiction. Most of the guy's she killed had history for abusing their wifes and girlfriends.

  • @offwiththefairies77 Still patheticwatching her shoot that man.

  • @027220 she didn't think she could trust him not to say anything. It is tough to watch, but she couldn't see a way out.

  • @Rosannasfriend She jumped the gun.

  • @027220 I don't think so. He would have called the authorities, and even if he wouldn't have there's no reason to assume he wouldn't. It wouldn't have been smart to just trust him.

p.s. I am in no way endorsing killing someone who might squeal on you, lol.

  • @Rosannasfriend He was about to ask if she was in some kind of trouble, which got me thinking she could've made up something.

  • @027220 she already held a gun at his head, that was more than enough to get in trouble with, especially if he tells the police thinking he is getting her "help".

  • @Rosannasfriend Which is why I say what she did to him's pathetic.

  • @027220 my point was she kind of had to if she wanted to stay out of jail(not that it changed anything in the end though).

  • @Rosannasfriend And it doesn't justify killing him.

  • @027220 I never said it did. But people don't get why she would want to kill such a nice man, and I'm giving you a perspective.

  • @027220 you could even hear her say "I"m sorry" just before she shoots, but she has no way out other than going to jail which she is trying to avoid.

  • @Rosannasfriend I know she says that. But she doesn't take resposibility for it in court.

  • @027220 well, I'm just talking about the movie, I don't know what she said specifically about this particular victim in court or anything like that. :)

  • @Rosannasfriend Neither do I.

  • Aileen was certainly ill. The state of Florida executed an insane woman.

  • @openupfresh i know thats what made it so sad and the fact that he kept saying "my wife" or "my daughters having her babies" :(

  • DAM SHIT WAS CRAZYY SHE SHOULD JUST HAD KNOCK THAT OLD MANN OUT. AND TAKE HIS CIT AWAY BUT SHE WAS ALREADY USE TO KILLING MAN SHE WAS STUCK IN A HARD SITUATION.

  • It scares myself to death, how love and sickness can be this close. This movie really tears my heart apart...

  • please stop voicing your opinions and watch the movie

  • @bloob10677357 *claps* THANK U

  • @rosannasfriend,

    Absolutely!!

  • I think she panicked. I think she had gotten used to killing people, and then killing more to cover her tracks, she just didn't know when to stop. She didn't know who to trust, no matter how nice the man seemed, she just couldn't trust him. She felt alone and couldn't trust anyone. I'm not excusing her, but I feel folks should know that not all wrong is about being "evil". Sometimes it is a misguided giving up on the world and what's right.

  • she went too far

  • i think the guy who raped her should have been shot, i mean that was horrible. But that old man.. at 2mins.. he didn't deserve it. She should have just got out of the car, he was a nice man. And she definately deserved to be charged for that.

  • @nikki5790 that rape never happened in real life. she admitted that she made the whole rape up.

  • @7861312 she actually didn't. by that time, she was so sick of being alive and all the media coverage that she told the documentary that so she could get the death sentence sooner.

  • @waysmarterthanu said who? aileen? you think she tells the truth???

  • @noirkitten I don't think you realize we're on the same side. I feel bad for ted bundy's life story. Not him. It's just sad that someone would resort to killing innocent people because of their hard lives. Also, Ted Bundy was a medically confirmed psycopath. I don't really know about Aileen.

  • Awww ): I cried at 1:17

  • It was so sad when she killed that nice man, he was only trying to help her :(

  • I don't think the bitch ever felt remorse for what she did.

I don't even think she's aware of the evil of her actions.

    Bitch deserved to die.

Thank you Jeb Bush for making sure that scum was killed so that she could never kill again!

  • @Madnessonman If she was not aware of her evil actions, how could she have been held responsible for them? Also, she was never shown true love or compassion in her life, so how do you expect her to know how to show it herself? I'm not condoning what she did, but I feel sorry for her whole life story.

  • I feel sorry for Aileen, but I do think she deserved to die for killing that innocent man. I think of his family members, and the kind person they knew him to be. Letting her go free would be a spit to their face. I think the murder of the rapist shouldn't have mattered, and she should have been convicted on account of the innocents she killed. Serials killers love to kill and they received much more mercy than she did.

  • Poor dude ;n; He didn't need to die ...

  • Why she kill the man that was helping her..just for the young girl

  • You don't have to be sane to execute...

  • 6:14 Jason Vorhees! Another serial killer lol

but seriously this is a great film

  • I felt bad for her.. until she killed that poor man. </3 :(

  • @MarieClaireWho i did too! that poor mannn :(

  • in real life, she had borderline personality disorder, and in case you guys didnt know that, thats why shes killed the guys, shes clinaclly "crazy"

  • @crazyforteen I'm pretty sure she passed her mental examinations because the courts deemed her sane enough to execute...

  • @crazyforteen i have that, i've tougt about killing but i've never done it

  • he did nothing rong wtf she kill him a bit harsh

  • I know the moral of this story! She wasn't able to light the match to smoke the cigarette at the bus station.

Stop smoking now! Otherwise, you'll become a serial killer!

  • She had no reason why to be killing innocent ppl!

  • she should got out when the guy saw her gun... but she was mentally unstable... i'm not tottally on her side....

  • Karma. She took lives so her life was taken. She had no right to MURDER innocent perverts because of past injustices.

  • yeah aileen was definitely a victim of abuse but in no way shape or form does that justify her taking others lives. especially the man at the beginning. look up aileen wuornos comes clean and you'll see that she really was a sick cold hearted person who admitted to killing 7 men in cold blood.

  • guy at the beginning did everything to help her offered her a room, shes just evil, no matter her previous life things and stuff, as soon i saw him die didnt feel sorry for her what so ever. cold bitch

  • Charlize Theron threw all vanity aside to protray Aileen Wuornos. And proved beyond a shadow of a doubt that she can truly act.Her well deserved Academy Award is shining proof. And Kudos to Christina Ricci! This Film was true to the entire theme of serial killer Aileen Wuornos life.

  • Charlze Theron threw all vanity aside to protray Aileen Wuornos. And proved beyond a shadow of a doubt that she can truly act.Her well deserved Academy Award is shining proof. And Kudos to Christina Ricci! This Film was true to the entire theme of serial killer Aileen Wuornos life.

  • 4:19 - You can tell Christina Ricci was shocked at how convincing Charlize channeled her character. Amazing acting.

  • i know the sketches were in the papers. they could've gotten away if they'd changed their appearance. and left the cop car. lee's girlfriend should have been charged for accessory, instead the cops cut her a deal. and she left scott free.

  • at 7:45 no i already saw the scene once

  • She was mentally ill as well, yes she can be blamed, but come on.

  • #1 this is a dramatization of what happened. #2she had no choice but too. she couldn't trust a complete stranger. 3# Lee new that if the she was in the news he'd just be another witness to help the police find them.

  • She killed that poor man who was trying to help her! That proves what she was to me.

  • wtf!? i can't understand what was said all i heard was.... "Beiber"

  • THE ONLY REASON WHY I DISLIKED IT WAS BECAUSE SHE HURT MY FEELINGS IN THIS SCENE!!!! WHYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY

  • I CRIED

  • NO! NO WHY! WHY DID YOU DO THAT! WTF MAN!!! GOD YOU JUST NEVER LEARN! D< I DONT LIKE HER ANYMORE LOL

  • hardest part all film to watch i feel for that man, god bless you

  • this is a good movie but i think they should have showed aileen's childhood so people would understand why she did what she did [for ppl who don't know, her dad raped her, other people raped her, her dad raped a boy and was placed in prison, and then killed himself, her mother abandoned her, and her grandparents kicked her out aat age 15. shes REALLY messed up and i feel so bad

  • never knew Charlize Theron is butt fucking ugly without make up :D

  • sad thing is for that kind old man that she killed, people will be wondering if he was trying to get a blow job instead of knowing the truth that he tried to help her

  • Love reading the comments from section one to section ten. BEginning " oh I feel sorry for her the men deserved it" Ending " What the fuck she is evil for killing that guy. Section11 " oh dont kill her like she killed 7 human beings"

  • Kane Hodder (Jason Vorhees) at 6:15 classic.

  • FEEL SO SORREY FOUR THE MAN

  • why she kill him :( in the beginning , i felt so bad for himm , he was trying to help her :(

  • aww, ricci's so cute:)

  • @FabalociousD25 I agree, so overall I think we could all come to the conclusion that past with abuse won't justify her murders but her mental illness will. right?

  • this is why i will never pick up hitch hikers! then you don't have to worry about being killed!!!!!

  • @25Snugs25 yep. That's the definite takeaway for me as well. Sympathy only goes so far. Not in your car.

  • at the eyes of a killer who had a bad life, everything may see like a playground ,where you can pick whatever you want and everything is fair BUT for those like us who see the world as unfair and cruel , we cannot find answer or reason for why this killers do with others even with those who want to help.

  • my opinion selby azz waz selfish..she hadd a better chance AT gettin a job..(instead uv sitten on her azz)....couldve put monster under her wing..and show her a better path to life...monster waz dwn 4 selby like 4 flat tirez...prostitution 4 her azz..2 have a lfe...monster wanted luv...

  • The Conversation With Her And Selby Had Me Bawling My Eyes Out And When They're In Court I Cry Everytime.

  • She was a sick bitch and I'm glad she's dead!

  • 3:19 to 4:24 one of the best acting in the history of cinema.

  • aww i tried for the old man! i dont like when old people die. D:

  • Oh and it doesn't really matter that he wanted to help and she killed him, because she was lying about her situation anyways? so really...what does it matter that he wanted to help and she killed him anyways??

  • you can totally hear Charlize's feminine side shine threw the character when shes crying...lol if that makes any sense.

  • "Sketches of us...of me."

That alone tells you everything about Selby's character.

  • @MamaLuigii really how???

  • @MamaLuigii that she's a liying two faced selfish brat? got it ;)

  • She did not have to kill that man. He was sincere in wanting to help.

  • :( awwwww why did she kill him? :(

  • i dnt really understand why she keep killing man. this girl is offer sex to the man for money then she kill them. she iis maniac

  • i dnt really understand why she keep killing man. this girl is offer sex to the man for money then she kill them.

  • Thats why I never pick up hitch hikers

  • Yeah she deserves to die.. or I think she already did.. maybe? idk..

  • Honestly... I was on her side till just about now! How the fuck did she have the heart to kill that man?

  • @hypnotic26 obviously she's not thinking right, no wonder after what she's been through. if only she got help...

  • @Canashea Yeah she could have been saved... IF only her so called lover didn't continue to push her off the edge!

  • @Canashea She actually tried to kill herself before she began murdering by shooting herself in the stomach. Hospital let her go without any offer of counseling or mental health help.

  • @hypnotic26 LOL. She didn't have "the heart", hence the crying and shutting her eyes before she did it.

  • 4:57 pouty sad face. lol.

  • POOR GUY this is sooo sad!

  • the part where she killed the sweet man is the worst part of the movie, she should have just let him go

  • the entire time I'm watching this all I can think is dont kill him, please dont kill him. This is the most intense movie I have ever watched in my life.

  • ok i dont fel bad for her anymore!!!!!!!! crazy ass bitch!!!!!!!

  • that poor guy was just being kind-hearted. for that reason alone Wuornos deserved to fry. She was a fucking waste of space, period. background is no excuse.

  • Fucking bitch went over the line, When she killed the old man.

  • I couldn't hardly watch the part where she killed that sweet old man. It makes me cry. I didn't cry in this whole movie until this. Poor little old thing. That's so awful.

  • the face selby made at 4:59 is priceless...lol

  • no dude, I can't believe she killed the one person who was about to help her!

fuck her man, i was abused my entire life, nothing justifies her behavior I would never hurt a fly and if I did I wouldn't blame it on anyone but myself. There are many abused ones out there who aren't killing people and taking their anger out on strangers.

  • @barbiemedeiros I think when she killed this particular man she was already gone....insane from all the abuse. She didn't know who the enemy was anymore.

It's sad really. She went mad from her hellish experiences. She snapped.

  • @Dresden1065 That could be the case, but still doesnt justify things wouldn't you agree? Can you imagine if this man was someone you loved, I know by my very own experiences what it's like to be abused and raped and I can understand why she'd be angry but like I said, the day I kill someone (im not saying i will but just figure of speech) I cannot blame my actions on the fact that I was hurt as a child, I still know right from wrong, it's hard for anyone to judge though, some are sane some arent
