A Tribute to my black lab: Willie

My black lab had blater canser she died dec 1 2011

Our lab/husky was put to sleep 3 weeks ago. I was with him to the end. Then as my wife and I morned we found another rescue dog that is black lab. I love this boy, named Freddy Mac. My wife cried when our last dog crossed over to that Rainbow Bridge to wait for us, but cried tears of happiness when we adopted Freddy Mac. Your video was wonderful

Thank you and I'm sorry for your loss as well. But that is great that you were able to turn your grief into a blessing for Freddy Mac. There is so much love that comes from an adopted animal and I wish you three many happy years together.

i cant stop crying :( i know im about to lose my lab blackie. shes 17 and im 18 and i love her more than anything! i remember when i was little she would catch the leaves when the would fall of the trees<3

I'm so sorry. I know it's hard losing a loved one. Just remember to treasure all the wonderful memories that you and Blackie share, and how lucky you are that you were able to have her for 17 wonderful years.

I know how much pain you go through when you lose your furry four legged kid. I's clear you loved Willie as much as he loved you. He was obviously a very sweet soul. We put our little boarder Silk to sleep and it was the hardest thing I've ever done. I wish you the best and know Willie will always live in your heart.

This is one of the most amazing and touching video I have viewed in many years. I am not one to cry but this one ripped at my heart. So sorry for your loss....Thank you for being one of those WHO care so deeply for their furry companion. HUGS!!!

Thank you. I cannot believe that it has only been about three years since we lost him, it feels like forever, but I am very thankful that I got to have him in my life. I too believe that all animals need to be treated with respect, cause they are like us, just with fur and four legs, haha.

amazing video, the poem had me wiping my eyes. Just had my black Lab (Molly) put down, she was you 1 month away from her 8th b-day, cushings disease took her away, her brother winston (chocolate) is totally lost with out her. These vids are great, sad but great.  Sorry for the loss of you friend Willie.

Thanks for posting this. I lost my almost 15 year old Lab-Mix Bosley, who looked like a slightly smaller version of Wiliie on January 13, 2011 and I miss her so much! So sorry for your loss:(

Sorry for your loss, he looked like an amazing dog, labs are the best, I have a black lab called Bailey he is only 4 n is a nutter and love him so much, at least

When they have gone we know we have lots of great memories with them to treasure :)

We adopted him from the Humane Society when he was about a year old, so about 10 years. We were his fourth family and if we hadn't taken him in more and likely he would have been put down. He was a great dog and I miss him very much. But I was lucky to have Rockie (the yellow lab in the video) to help me with Willie's lost.

It is amazing how so many labs are the same. Not one difference. They all act the same, dream the same, act crazy the same, and love the same. They are the best dogs in the world.
