It's unfortunate that a recording doesn't do this production justice. You all did an excELLEnt job. I thoroughtly enjoyed every moment. I hope next time I see it (whenever that third time may be) it doesn't take away from my experience with your guys. It'd be amazing if it could even build upon it!!

@thelostsoundeli8 The song has sexual innuendo. She's not REALLY being sung to be a wolf, but a man. This song is him seducing her. They're just essentially making that sexual innuendo more apparent. Do YOU know what the show is about?

@lillypadx3 i disagree with his interp as well, the song has sexual inuendo but isnt to be played that way....the song is about wanting to eat a child....? the disire is not out of a sexual urge but far more of a hungry urge haha, to say that they dont know what the show is about is a little extreem. having him be a blatant pedophile is as well. i'll just say that it was a weak choice as opposed to a strong one.

I was lucky enough to get to see this production of 'Into the Woods.' I've been fortunate enough to see over the past three decades many of the best musical productions on stage from Drury Lane to Broadway. I have to say that Kaufman's re-visioning of "Into the Woods" is one of the most thrilling nights of theater I have ever experienced. I feel so lucky! It's run has been extended for an extra week. If you are anywhere near Kansas City, get there before it is too late!
