At 4:44-4:48 it almost looks like a screaming skull forms in the tornado for a second, creepy. Big steel ones on the guys getting this footage, it puts these storms in proper perspective.

That mall nearly was taken out. I agree. Of all the videos I've seen of this particular tornado this one is the best. The news footage showing it going north of downtown was also good because one could see the scale of the tornado in comparison to the skyscrapers in downtown Tuscaloosa. Great work. Bravery.

@MegaSleprock won't know that for sure until the weather service surveys the damage..You can not tell from just looking at it. I've seen some of the damage in photos and I agree it may be a EF5, but we won't know offically until the weather service surveys the damage

Seriously, people act like severe weather, earthquakes, volcanoes, etc. have never happened before. FAR worse examples of these disasters have taken place for CENTURIES beforehand - I'm sure folks thought that the world was coming to an end way back then, too. Even if it is ... oh well! All the more reason to live your life to the fullest today! :-)

This is some serious footage. I am amazed, and Ive never seen anything like it. You see this monsterous tornadoes rip through mid America in fields, but its rare you catch this kind of footage or a tornado barreling through a populated town. Wow!
