It did not work to Intel Pentium 4 1.60 ghz. I got 2 hardrives. I want to install Ubuntu 10.04 on the other. But now? I've tried the Ubuntu 11.10 and still didn't work. What's the problem? It just show me dots, and freezes eventually.

@Albanez39 you need to change bios to boot by CD in order to install to usb . only after successful install you change your bios again to start from usb

will this also work if I use a partition of a usb HDD?
dovaje 1 year ago
@dovaje yes , in a external HD it will be faster than USB :)
chefedogang 1 year ago
@chefedogang thnx mate.
dovaje 1 year ago
@chefedogang Actually, a USB would be faster, as it is essentially a small solid state drive
dorkvader1881 1 year ago
@dorkvader1881 no reason since its usb2.0.. it caps the speed, even on a traditional hdd.
iFastforwrd 1 year ago
@dovaje as long as you have enough space
