  • "Copacetic"?? Hey, now there's a word you don't hear everyday.

  • I wouldn't be surprised if someone were to write a story about Flopsy, Mopsy, and Cottontail Rabbit. People are always doing that, thinking about the lives of the relatives of famous literary characters. As for the "Peter, Peter, Peter" line, I'll bet Flopsy says that when she and her sisters discover that Peter hasn't followed them down the lane to gather blackberries.

  • @Garrettk41 Did you know that Flopsy eventually married Benjamin Bunny, and Beatrix Potter herself wrote a book about their offspring? No joke.

  • That's right. It was her tenth book. "The Tale of the Flopsy Bunnies", she named it.

  • I absolutely love the musical arrangment of this version, and the Three Sisters reference is great!!

  • Has anyone got the version of this song in which Big Bird imagines Bob singing it as a little boy? It came around the same time period as this one.

  • Who does the Voice of the Owl?

  • @Sundancer213 Kevin Clash.

  • @Garrettk41 Isn't it funny how Richard and David were preforming together and David later went on to take over most of Richard's Sesame and Muppet Show characters?

  • Small world, isn't it?

  • @Garrettk41 I guess so.

  • You don't know how long it's been since I've seen this! Omg! Thanks so much for posting! :-)

  • Very nice!

  • I haven't seen this for a long time. Thanks for posting.

  • I never have seen this before. Thanks for posting.

  • Episode 2619!

  • I think so, Jonny.

  • @misssweetiepie10 I don't think so, I KNOW SO! I used to have the entire episode of 2619 on tape.

  • I really like the melody in this one. And don't get me started on the jokes!

  • Is the melody here any different from the other versions?

  • Just the way it's orchestrated.

  • Oh, the accompaniment, you mean. Yeah, it's nice. Has a real city-like tone to it.

  • That night watchman seems like he belongs in an Anything Muppet version of The Village People.

  • I see your point. His outfit is a bit like that of the biker, the late Glenn Hughes. Interesting, since I used to get him and the cop mixed up.

Don't forget to add Kevin Clash's name to the tags.

  • @NantoVision1

Very amusing way of looking at it!
