  • The jury gave the right conviction. Involuntary manslaughter is the right call. He didnt intentionally kill Oscar Grant. Police brutality is not systemic, its the exception not the rule.

  • fight the power!

  • Re: OPERATION BLACKJACK WARNING! PLEASE LISTEN! illuminauiti message for illinois pt 3/3

  • Go ahead and burn your dirty holes down. Animals.

  • The main objectives of policing is to enforce policies, the city money, the tax dollar money paid the police department to enforce these policies,to protect and to serve the public,to execute a man in public in plain view is not really serving the cause, the force in which the police used to subdued oscar is a bit excessive, infact it's down right murder, the camera caught it all.

  • Okura, please don't send me threats. I don't appreciate it. Senseless violence never solves anything. Rioting, looting and vandalism doesn't solve things either, it just makes those doing it look even worse. DIdn't MLK say not to use violence in regards to social justice? Tearing a city apart is only going to create more hatred. Please stop the rioting.

  • All idiots! If you want to get your points across. Protesting is fine, but fighting and throwing shit at the police won't solve anything, it never has and never will! Only dialogue, exchange of ideas and tolerance will prevail That doesn't mean, this gives the cops the right to go joyriding and shot everyone on site either. But destroying your neighborhood, come on people.

  • The police are always the ones instigating violence at peaceful protests, as their message is so powerful, many cases documented and proven of cops posing as protesters breaking things and trying to cause disorder..

And mass riots like the LA riots are something different, they are in fact the rage of the good people in this world against those who take advantage of them..

It's terrible when racial attacks happen during that, but understand those that do that have been made that insane..

  • I DIDN'T SEE ANY VIOLENCE!

  • im from east oakland and it sucks that oscar grant was killed, but people have to understand that the root of the problem is Violence in oakland period and not just the five-o. innocent civilians and cops BOTH have to live in these violent streets and both sides need to get together and act together NOT blame one another

  • Fight back ,don,t take it anymore !! 5/5 *****

  • :( so sad.

  • JUSTICE FOR OSCAR GRANT AND PALASTIN!

  • WTF? Oscar, Yes! Palestine, a totally different issue. If Hamas can renounce violence, there can be justice for them too.

  • Wtf? What did I specificlly say? I said JUSTICE FOR PALASTINE, I didnt not mention anything about Hamas. Whats your point? Did I defend Hamas in your eyes? If so, youre lost buddy.

  • How do you ask a government to renounce violence? they are the legitimately elected leaders of Gaza, try looking at who's bombing who before you blame the Palestinians. it's like saying it's okay for cops to shoot Oscar Grant because there's a lot of crime in Oakland.

  • how come when a cop kills a black man everyone riots and goes nuts. but no one...and i mean no one bats an eye when a black person kills another black person. in our town they were having a block party (in a black neigborhood) and threw out some black teenagers for getting rowdey at a family event. the kids came back shooting and killed 3 blacks including a 3 year old. it made the paper for 2 days then was ignored by everyone ...why dont those black protesters care about that stuff ?

  • Racism at it's finest?

  • Because this is the government. I'd care if anyone got shot and killed.

  • Duh, those crazy behaviors are created in people.. When the world is fair it will end..

They are suppose to protest in support of a "fair world" sorry you and the rest of the world are not nearly ready for that and would only laugh about it..

    ciao, peace

  • @zardozqq Because the police are there to protect us from people like that. Not join them.

  • you make alot of since....some black folk are very ignored. you will never ever see them protest a black on black homicide. these people in this video are fake. i wonder since Oscar Grant death, how many other protect has been held for the shooting death of other black and brown youth in the neigborhood.

  • Oh goodness, blacks being what they are...the most racist of all the races.

When a black man dies its immediately branded as a hate crime or racist. On the other hand when a white or other race dies due to an accident it's never the same hyped movement.

  • I couldn't agree more sithxphantom. Gets on my damn nerves.

  • If that shooting wasn't racially motivated, then I'm the Queen of Sheba. Yes, I am white, but my sking color has nothing to to with the fury I feel at such a heinous act. I hope for a solution to all this madness that stemmed from this shooting. I also don't believe using violence to stop violence helps the matter.

Words are powerful tools; the more we SPEAK OUT against atrocities, the more people will know, the more people will use their own voices to bring about change.

  • Hello Queen of Sheba-

  • You are WeeAboo, not White.

Those protesters just use substitute of "cops the pigs" for White to gain support in their racism. Every time some violent black recidivist dies by hands of Justice, it´s the same.

And cop´s family already recieved numerous death treaths. Good fuck job, you civil rights activist! This is how it´s done!

  • Protesters (more like racists) already burned several cars in donwtown Oakland in their fight for "justice"... fuck them all.

  • today is sunday january 11,2009 1:39 pm.look into the sky overhead in the northern part of east bay san francisco area-richmond. the feds have started their high altitude spraying chem trails. when there is unrest in the sf bay area, the feds start their spraying. homeland security controlling the everyday people who speak out on injustices.
