The Black Macbooks are faster. They have a 2.2 GHz..I had some overheating and I downloaded SMCfancontrol. You can find how to use it if you google it. It helped my MacBook from overheating but be careful to messed up your drive.
@Latinlabel corrrection they have a 2.4 ghz, and the processor is the only thing on the mother board that has a heat contractor, but the fan is loud and can give some feedback sounds in your videos

hi dont leave your computer plugged in all the time it will kill the battery and get really hot you could download the fan widget from apple

One question: have taken off, a peace of transparente plastic, between, the screen and the key board ?
Because, it could be the source of your problem.
But if that still dose not solve the problem, I recommande that you take your MacBook back to your local Apple Store, to have it checked out.
On last thing: if your MacBook is sill under garentie, I recommande that you save up a few hundred dollars, to by an Apple Care.
