  • I received my first Pearl daisy package :) its so awesome!

  • Do you ever wear your hoojab with a neck covering or turtleneck, say, and forego wrapping the scarf around your neck? I'd be interested in seeing some of those tutorials, if so.

  • @NafeesaNo1 Totally understand! It actually made me giggle! :')

  • Well done sister.

  • how long is this scarf???

  • This is a lovely style. I understand that your styles don't look the same twice, and maybe it is just me, but I don't see much resemblance between this and the one on the picture. Still pretty, though :-)

  • Assalam Aleikum, Amena!!! I like so much your videos, your hoodjabs & hidjabs are making with pleasure. Would you plan to make them as long as yours 2,7-3 metres long, it will be great to have them.

    Thanks.

  • You have some very decorative walls :)

  • My earlier comment was for Amena, and if you can please remove the comment after! Thank you!

  • Assalamu Alaikum, I am a student at Ayesha Community School, Hendon, and we are having a Fundraising Ladies Evening on Satuday 4th Feb. We contacted you earlier on your website, however you didn't seem to reply, as we were wondering if you would like to attend the event to do hijab tutorials. If you are interested please contact fatima95@hotmail.com . JazakAllah!

  • this may sound wierd but dont you iron your hijabs?.... it just looks really creased :s

  • @suaverockstar94 lol sometimes I don't get time just before I wear it, so yes, this one was really creased from the hanger

  • Sister Amina...I love you and love Pearl Daisy, but please advise your staff to respond to customers and not ignore their emails. No hard feelings for you sis, but a little frustrating ordering from across the globe and not being able to talk to customer service. Thanks!

  • @starsnrockets84 All emails are answered within 4 working days! If you got an automated reply as soon as you sent it, that confirms we've received your email. And then, if it concerns an order, your email is replied to within 4 working days - please check your junk mail as our replies sometimes end up in there!

  • @Amenakin My dear sister Amina...I have to say I have gone through waiting for a reply to my email quite a few times. I have tried both emailing from the site(I do get a confimation) and emailing from my email directly. I feel horrible because I truly love and make dua for you as you are the one that inspired me to wear the hijab:) but I just had to share my distaste on the emails. I hope this will be constructe feedback:) I love Pearl Daisy and will continue to do so:)

  • My birthday is coming up and im going to go daisy crazy!I love your tutorials.I especially love the fact that your styles give such amazing coverage

  • @trichmomma Happy birthday for when it comes!

  • i love how ur always smiling in your videos <3 ur smile is so welcoming mashallah ;D

  • really love how you style your hijab/hoojab.

  • This style is so cute, and looks so comfortable; perfect for a lazy day and still look chic!(:

  • Salaams! I love your videos! I had surgery on my jaw today and I mostly wear the summer Jedi hijab style, so the doctors and nurses and everyone I saw in the hospital told me how beautiful I looked! I'm only 13 but I really enjoy your videos m'A! Thank you!

  • Glad you're back to posting vids!

  • Beautiful, thank you for your videos

Ignore the negative comments, sometimes I think viewers on youtube don't realise effort it goes into videos.... so much trolling on guru videos these days smh

  • Should of ironed it tbf

  • where did you get your phone cover? it a pearl daisy phone cover! I WANT ONE...

PS: i like this tutorial ;) keep up the grate fantastic work

  • Amena- Would you be willing to create a Qur'an study circle of sorts? I can't find anything online that has the outreach you do so far.

  • peace, love and the daisy way :)))

  • ma'shallah, love this style

i love having the hijab border around the face loose like that sometimes, though for me not having it pinned down can get on my nerves :p

looking beautiful as always Amena Jaan <3

  • @Noor2388 Show it to me, if you do try it! Thank you, Jaan <3

  • @Amenakin thanks for your vids. even though im not religious ur tutorials are super helpful and ur speaking vids have really allowed me to learn more about ur religion. i do have one request for a vid though. if possible can u speak on the belief that women are not supposed to wear makeup or dress nice if theyre "good" hijabis? i just ask b/c i have come across ALOT of vids by men condemning hijabis who do youtube vids for makeup/style. is this view common and what do you think of this belief?

  • @whitneywonder Nothing to speak about, to be honest - to each his own! Obviously I don't agree with it :o)

  • Can Hijabs be used instead of hoojabs for these tutorials? Thanks and keep up the amazon work Mashaallah!

  • I was just recently thinking about you. I would really like to start making videos on youtube too but I realize it takes ALOT of guts. But our world really needs to see the positive and normal side of Muslims. People like you are helping create a positive perception of Muslims. I would really like to be a part of that but I don't think I'm prepared for the negativity and criticism that will undoubtedly come from OUR OWN MUSLIMS. How do you deal with it? What is it that keeps you going?

  • Salaam sis, lovely outfit (love ur mustard blazer) and great tutorial. I purchased the black wing hoojab when u first started selling them, the material is a lovely jersey(viscose) material which is fab for the cold weather. Will u be having any more of the viscose wing hoojabs in different clours? Ur wing hoojabs at the moment are cotton in most colours, i find that they dont drape as nice, please bring out more viscose wing hoojabs, we need it for this horrible weather :(

  • @MsShefaz1981 Wa 'alaikum as-salaam! Yup, more jersey and viscose ones will be released at the end of this month and in January. Join the PD Facebook page as there will be sneak peaks there :o)

  • i just luuuv how u always cum up with diffrent ways of doing hijabs or hoojabs u R actually talented

  • @pwettypwincess9 aw thank you! Hope you enjoy watching them

  • ahh that looks amazing... simple and beautifull...

can you tell me what kind of hairstyle you have under your underscarf.. is it a ponytail?? is the back of your hijab volumenous?? i hope you understand what i mean :D

  • @orientangel92 Like a ponytail but without pulling all the hair out of the ponytail, if that makes sense. Go to Google and type in "folded ponytail" - that's pretty much how I have my hair under the hijab

  • very useful video sister. like it so much.

  • amena could i share ur vidéo on my blog please?????

  • @abirabiir Yes, please feel free to share it :o)

  • Of course, it looks perfect when you do it with your delicate hands but when I do it, it never comes out right. Please ignore any haters and ugly comments from others. You are talented and we as Muslims have so much freedom and well respected by our husbands, friends and family. It's ridicoulous how people just type without thinking about it. We all love you and respect you as a sister. Continue the GREAT job.

  • @nashvillegirl1 I'A, give it some practise and you'll perfect it soon enough! And thank you SO much for your kind words - I truly appreciate it :o)

  • Sister i love this Hijab style ! ^__^

  • Salam!!

Wahouuuuu thank you very much!!! Love it!! Can't wait to try it!!! <3

    You're wonderful!!

  • @Nhayatou Wa 'alaikum as-salaam! Ooh, let me know how it goes!

  • can you use a normal pashmina instead a hoojab?

  • @89dgh You could try! The draping and amount of coverage will look different, though

  • @Amenakin what hijab style do you think would work for someone in highschool, who has to change in locker rooms (which will mess up your hijab easily) and do p.e

  • No offence or anything. I absolutely love this look! :) But actually, this look is similar to the trend in Malaysia in which had started about a year ago :) <3

  • @Amenakin that style looks so good on you m'A

  • so beautiful mashallah!

  • Amenakin thank you so much for speedy response! Will have to work on Non drapey styles..:( I love drapes and folds!thank you

  • @ccobrastarship My goodness - stop being so judgemental! What do you want Amena and other sisters to do? Lock themselves away shrouded in black, hidden from the world?! What Amena is doing shows that one can be modest, observe hijab, respect and follow Islam and be a strong woman - something I do not see goes against Islam in any way.

If you are following some Salafi inspired school then fine but don't preach it on others. Veil over the face is not obligatory.

  • @Kathleeniti salafi people always judging and attacking others

  • @Kathleeniti I officially love you! haha (not in any freaky way)

but thank you for that ^.^ dont think anyone could find better words ;)

    x

  • i looove that one you always look so glamorous! thank you its very helpful! =)

  • u r soo beautiful amena

i wish u could make a hojab tutorial for teenagers :)

  • you look stunning in this tutorial masha allah xo

  • @zeysalvatore Thanks Zey :o)

  • Sister Amena, I hope you don't mind me asking and I know this question has nothing to do with your video but I was just curious to know, what have you majored in and why? Thanks :)

  • @BunniiLuuv Do you mean at University?

  • @Amenakin Yes, at University.

  • Asalam alaikum sis! just a quick question: you know when you pin the scarf at the beginning n u say to bring it up next to your ear, are you pinning it to your head cap tht ur wearing inside? Jazakallahu khairun =) !

  • @UmmKulthoom Wa 'alaikum as-salaam! Oh sorry, I should have mentioned that - yes, it's pinned to the underscarf/head cap :o)

  • @Amenakin No problem sis ;) Xx

  • You're beautiful Amena.

    Love watching your tutorials.

    Assalam O Alaikum

  • @mrsm24 Wa 'alaikum as-salaam!

  • Assalamu alaikum - question I'm expecting and still a newbie to wearing the hijab.. Im also a pin fanatic - like to keep it secure:) obvious not practical with a bebe. Do you have any tips on securing the hijab - from wind? Baby pulls? Etc? Without overdosing on pins:) please

  • @tabubakare I always find that if it's really windy, pulling the hood of my coat really secures the scarf lol. Even a cardigan or hoodie with a hood pulled over. Other than that, keeping the scarf close to the head and not draped much also makes it less likely to be pulled by the baby!

  • It is perfect, the way I like it with much coverage masha'allah amenakin you are very talented.

  • @pakipari13 you're welcome! I'm glad you liked it

  • is this material Pashmina??

  • اسلام عليكم امنه

    Love the hooded effect ;)

And u look so natural and beautiful xxx

  • @MyMuslimah91 Thank you sis!

  • LOve your videos.. Thanks for the video, I'm going to try this tomorrow..

Hope it ends up good, since I am always rushing in the mornings,,

  • @FaadumoAliNour You can definitely rush this one!

  • Love it !

  • @RiiaStila yey :oD

  • @ccobrastarship I'm not sure whether you were asking a rhetorical question, but, to answer it: no, *I* don't believe that being on YouTube negates my hijaab. It's ridiculous to assume that you can control who views you if you're in the public domain. The only way anybody could do that is if we were locked up inside our houses, never going out, working or interacting with society; unfortunately, in some cultures, women are treated like that. I'm not one of those women ;o) I hope that you aren't.

  • Comment removed

  • @ccobrastarship Well no, not at all. The school of thought that *I* follow does not consider the face veil to be obligatory. But I'm glad that your watching my videos (despite your disapproval of my choice to not cover my face, wear makeup, use photography and even make videos in the first place) makes you feel better about yourself as a Muslim :o)

  • @Amenakin Alright, Please forgive me sister, I'm aware I came across as a 'hater'

And anyone else who I offended.

May A---h give us all Hidayah.

  • @ccobrastarship what a hypocrite u saying all this stuff trying to seem religious when u subscribe to makeup channels yourself and ' like' a video some atheists who attacked islam and sister amena made. u should be ashamed of yourself

  • Comment removed

  • @ccobrastarship Yeah, but when you go outside in the world you don't control who see's you though do you? Amena is controlling what she can up to a point where she only accepts female friends. Also she's spreading goodness by encouraging sisters to wear the hijab in a stylish way because tey find it 'boring' with the repetitive design. #JustSaying

  • @NafeesaNo1 Loving the hashtag there sis!

  • @emz490 Haha, thank you. I think me putting it there is so that people know its my opinion :D..x

  • @ccobrastarship you subscribe to her channel and to other make up channels but then you criticize her and women who wear make up...and then you liked a video of amena's hater..coherence please!

  • love this style, great tips.. inshAllah I will try it very soon! Thank you<3

  • @fgoumaa Hope you enjoy recreating it

  • I love watching your tutorial vids even though they dont work for my faceshape, your just fun to watch mashallah :).
