also you should guess and remember how difficult this work is. when you have to do it every day for example, or to be all the time in tension - you must always look nice to the time of your concert, (if you have to work only in evening - almost full day is missed for your personal life - all the day you think about your evening work, you may never be too late)

I think you're right: you can't compare. I think what I meant but didn't express was a much wider outlook about baroque singing in general and influenced by my belief of Vivaldi's writing being male. It needs minimal vibrato and a lighter tone quality, qualities which jaroussky reconciles and Lemieux does not in this context (but I can recognise she is a good singer...) I checked your profile because of the infamous name! What do you do with the name?

Lemieux has a rocksolid voice.

I prefer lighter voices for this work, like Jaroussky.

On the other hand SHE can sing it, and sounds amazing!!
