@MrRampage85 Agreed. I don't understand all the flack directed at LaBrie-- if Dream Theater had any other singer, they'd only be half as good. LaBrie's voice fits DT perfectly, and I wouldn't have it any other way. Their first album, WDaDU, didn't sound very good at all, mainly because of Dominici, I think. After LaBrie joined, DT got their signature sound.

@ilikechicken001 He did pretty damn good in France on the 3rd of this month, although slightly off still he's holding up very well after 20 years. Considering tons of singers these days are very poor live as well, I think he holds his own pretty well. Although I do agree he was better in 92. :)

Hello! Has anyone seen this fucking epic band live? In that case, PLEASE HELP ME!! I watched them in Copenhagen 27/1, and were completely blown away by the amazing acoustic sound Petrucci could get out of his guitar in "The Spirit Carries On". What I want to know is which pedal he uses to get it, and the pick-ups. I play Gibson Flying V myself, and it has the standard Gibson pick-ups, which isn't exactly the best for getting an acoustic sound. Anyways.. PLEASE HELP ME, THANKS!! :-)

YOU KIDS are too young to appreciate an oldschool band like DREAM THEATER. They go back to around 1986 and this album was the ONLY multi platinum album in symphonic metal history. Tuomas Halopainen/Nightwish would give a leg for an album this successful, and thats says alot. Oceanborn & Dark Passion Play are brilliant. The live version from their 20th anniversary with both Dominici and Labrie, and both Sherinian and Rudess might be the most fascinating thing I've ever seen, even though Labries voice didn't sound as good as before the incident.
